What is this place?
This is this includes: sanrio,san-x, japanese guys, sleek technology, FASHION!

Ok, so what does one do here?
Well, this place is to share graphics, discuss things like fashion, cute guys, share fashion tips, anything japan-cute.

Others important stuff
Graphic package sounds like a big interesting thing, but its really just a bunch of graphics, like images, wallpapers , those moving big smilie like things all bundled up.
VIP: this is a list of people who have volunteered themselves to help manage the thread (duties include helping me: make sure the thread doesnt get messy and out of hand, bumping, asking people to remove pics or fix posts etc.) called managers [not surprisingly], and anyone who is eyn (this just means he can do whatever to thread he wants, scary)Giggle
the fanlist is for anyone who is crazily in love with this stuff (note: most of this stuff can be used on sites), if you want to list your self under something specific, for exmaple, a my melody lover, i ll include it with your name.
If you want to post a graphics pack on the same topic as someone else, make sure all your graphics are different!!
yes, LOVE-chan does count as a cute graphic! i wonder who will get to be the lucky "LOVE chan graphic pack" poster....
korean stuff is allowed too (pucca, hey-yo yorang!) Plz save all imgaes to your own server! also includewhatever you think is cute(like japanese fashion), and *cough cough*cute japanese boys *cough cough*, and cellphones and whatever!!!!!!!This even includes gadgets you think are cute! and food!

  • Tatsuka Ito- My melody
  • KerushiiAi-Hello kitty

I hope eyn does stuff in this thread! i remember in another the post of eyn was filled by some other guy, and he edited in the most hilarious things into peoples posts: for ex. one girl posted something about cats, and he edited the post to say

"this reminds me. i went to the doctor with my cousins boyfriend, and you know how the doctor sometimes sticks his hand up your ass? yeah, well my cousins boyfriend had to fart really bad and he was like ""ooh, errugh, ahh" because he was trying not fart. so when the doctor brought his hand up he wenyt "eeeyurrgh" and the doctor said "are you ok? would you prefer a female?" and he said "no, i prefer males" Giggle "

hm...after reading your first post in detail maybe i won't be here so much. mansley doesn't really hunt for these kinds of graphics...not that they don't look cool but that they just don't interest me much. but i'm all for discussing japanese guy cuteness!

*runs and hides in corner*

i don't think this counts as cute but it is a good image to share...maybe one of you will like it.

oh and i was joking about me wanting to discuss japanese guy cuteness...please don't take me seriously because the second you start discussing it, i'll be off my computer and happily running away anywhere else...even to class.

well, it doesnt have to be graphics. but yeah, i love them. im an addict!!!!

Isaburo Bags

Letís go upmarket for a moment. Isaburo 1889 was established, as the name suggests, in 1889 by Isaburo Matsusaki. They specialise in high quality, custom leather luggage products. They have headquarters in the famously fashionable Omotesando.
The showroom doesnít contain products for sale, but examples of leather and designs which, after you mix and match, are put together over a month. They use traditional leatherworking techniques along with modern day techniques.
Itís the kind of shop that has a philosophy, which, along with the Omotesando address, tells you that if you have to ask how much the bag is, you canít afford it. The bags are high quality and very unique however.
The rucksacks can be purchased outside of Japan from Dynamism, but you wonít be able to customise your purchase. Prices start from US$699. No news sadly on the beautful womenís handbags.

I want one!

I'm a great DBZ fan and just wanted to share my fav character with yas! It's Goten! Boogie

I'll redo these images in ImageShack later. I forgot that I can't hotlink. Laughing

Yes, he looks like the main character of the series (Goku, if you don't know his name). He's very popular among the female fans (kawaiiness, how you call it). Laughing No matter how long I'll be loving DBZ, Goten will always be my favourite character. Boogie

In my opinion, Gothloli needs to be elegant to look good:

How to be a "gothloli":
  1. Throw away any pre/misconceptions you may have! Gothic Lolita is not necessarily related to what you think of as "Goth". It is not a reference to Vladimir Nabokov's famous novel Lolita and followers of the style do not consider it to be a sexual style. Instead, adherents present themselves as young victorian girls and consider it necessary to look "cute," "beautiful," or "elegant" rather than "sexy."
  2. Purchase one of the Gothic & Lolita Bibles from a Japanese bookstore, comic book store or online. These magazines are a great resource for anyone interested in the style. If you don't have the funds to spend 15 to 20 dollars on one of the Bibles, visit one or more of the listed External Links for more information on what exactly "Gothic Lolita" is. It's good to have a strong foundation regarding what the style consists of before you attempt to dress in that way.
  3. Invest in a few essential items. These include (but are not limited to) a white blouse and a black blouse, one or two full skirts and a petticoat. Bloomers and socks are also good to have. After you have these, expand into other colors than black and white. Red, pink, light and dark blue, brown and floral patterns are common.

    • Get a good pair of shoes and/or boots. If you are of average height or a little short, high-heels and platforms are encouraged. If you are relatively tall, you may still wear these shoes, but Mary-Janes are nice, too.
    • Headdresses, chokers, parasols, plushies, bags, jewellery, nails and makeup can make the outfit more spectacular and interesting. Lace, frills, ribbon and other details are vital to the look.
    • Hair is important. Use references to see what hairstyle works for you - and wigs are always an option! Bangs (a fringe), ringlets, long hair and pigtails are common. Wild, unnatural color is optional.

  4. Look at stores like H&M, Target and even TJ Maxx - popular stores like these often have nice blouses, skirts and stockings that can be considered Lolita. You do not have to pay 300,000 yen for a dress from Japan!
  5. Be polite, kind, and generally have good manners. Cross your ankles when you sit and always smile at people. Look straight ahead when you walk, as it improves your posture.
  6. Try to look as natural as possible. Pale skin is ideal but if you have darker skin then you can still look lovely! If you have dark skin, do not wear white powder; it looks awful.
  7. Be confident! Don't take anything from anyone; don't let people make fun of you. If someone makes a rude comment, reply with a smile or ignore the person. Getting angry is not the best response. If you are having trouble being confident to go out this way, start in a place where you are unlikely to see people you know.

  • The Gothic & Lolita Bibles as well as the Gosu Rori magazine have excellent sewing patterns for seamstresses of any skill level, so if you can sew, you should pick a few of them up.
  • Knowing a little bit of Japanese is useful in understanding parts of the magazines, websites and patterns you may encounter.
  • It is always a good idea, if you are devoted, to have a Lolita lifestyle. Decorate your room/house in that way, bake/cook, have tea parties and cherish everything that is beautiful.
  • Male gothic lolitas should take steps to fit the feminine style; shaved/waxed legs, (tasteful) makeup, lipstick, and mascara will promote a more girlish appearance.
  • See the movie "Kamikaze Girls," an entertaining comedy from writer-director Tetsuya Nakashima that serves as a veritable documentary on the Gothic Lolita look.

Looking at this you can see how japanese gothloli, are different from the goths in north america.

gothloli reminds me of nana kitade.
though i still like her, that sort of fashion is not to my liking at all. but i think everyone should have their own sense of uniqueness so if you like this fashion style, adopt it as you will.
