it's quite surprising since we rarely see Ai-chan wears a kimono, the only time was in Planetarium PV, she was wearing a yukata which is a simple kind of kimono so that can be wore in summer, but I think she looks extremely cute in it especially with a weathercock in her hands, simple things suits Ai-chan's cute style very well.
I have no idea about #1 Shiina Ringo but I guess she must wear kimono so often, Ayu was wearing kimono twice in Panasonic CMs and Kuu even has a collection of kimono.

she also wore a kimono in the JAM PUNCH tour pamphlet, right?  yay for ai! i wish we had more pictures of her wearing kimono! i bet she looks stunning.  thank you for in the information onyx spears! |

I think Shiina Ringo definitely deserved to get first in this category.
She brings wearing of a kimono to a whole new level.
She wore them alot of time in concerts and pvs.
and picture this, Kimono + electric guitar,
the results definitely nets her the first place in the kimono category.
i've always like ai in kimono!
hopefully we can see more of her in kimono.

I've not been able to watch any Kouhaku full show, therfore I don't know that Ai-chan has a tradition to wear kimono at Kouhaku, I guess I'll get the 2006 show at my friend house to see it, thanks for telling me this.

| well planetarium was the first ai video i watched and i must agree she looks wonderful in a kimono. too bad she doesn't do it a little bit more often. |
