TVXQ 東方神起
TVXQ(Dong Bang Shin Gi, creativly spelt Tong Vfang Xien Qi) is a Korean boy band. This group is composed of five members specializing in the areas of dance, acappella, various drama acting, and pop with an R&B vibe. The group has gained popularity in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, and other East Asian countries. Currently, it is one of the top pop groups of the Korean Wave (hallyu).
The name is translated to "Rising Gods of the East." The Japanese equivalent of the group's name is Tōhōshinki (東方神起 abbreviated as THSK). The group debuted in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China in 2004.

I know love them! i basically was going to learn korean for them, but, i dont know what happened. i realized i was forgetting a bit of japanese. and i sort of drew the line at that and went "i guess i ll just have to do what ppl who dont understand japanese but listen to jpop do" which is very frustrating in my opinion, especially since korean is so easy to hear now since i have so much exp. deciphering languages. kinda hurts. because i can clearly hear the word 풍선 in the song 풍선 (so cute, especially junsu, jae joong, yunho [though jae joong does have an odd moment in the song])
(omg, 풍선 pungson, is so obviously a chinese loan word! [japanese fuusen, in korean f= p. in japanese ung=uu. fungsen=pungsen= pungson. sorry. im bored)

I am guilty of never listening to their songs before. Anyone can take the liberty to introduce a few of their favourite songs by them? Many of my friends are fans of theirs and I would like to have a taste of their songs. And alright, I admit, they are pretty cute!  |

I currently own their 'Heart, Mind and Soul' Japanese album and 'O' Korean album. I have to thank my local media for advertising their albums on primetime TV. That's what got me hooked on their music! 'O' is totally a slick and groovy dance song. Their MV got me grooving to the beat tho' I suck at dance. 'I'll Be There' is a very nice harmonised ballad that makes me totally engrossed and pulled into the music. Their Japanese album has alot of good R&B ballads as well!
That being said, I know there's such a thing as studio engineering. Lately, I've lost faith in boybands, esp. with the slew of pretty face Taiwanese boybands popping up, apparently able to hold a tune, but bombed badly during live shows. I'll have to see a single live performance from DBSK to make me totally convert into a fan! |

A lot of my friends like them.
But I have some questions...
How come they have so many names? Cause I also hear other people call them DBSG, etc.
And how come each member has two names? (like Jaejoong, Hero; Yunho, U-Know, etc.)
Edit: I think they seem very nice on shows! |

Ok, there name is TVXQ(Tong Vfang Xien Qi). in japan THSK(Touhoushinki). Some people like to abb. dong bang shin gi/ki to DBSG/K

| I really like DBSK. I got into them early this month, so I haven't been a fan for a long while like most here. I own their "Vol.2 Rising Sun" and "Vol.3 O" A Version (I ordered it last week). I think these boys have wonderful voices. I wish their record label would give them a little more control over thier music a let them compose and write their own lyrics. I know they have it in them to handle that. |

it should. just install it yourself. just remember, it does not follow romanization like the japanese input system (ex: q= ㅂ but the reading is b/p)
PS. i hate the whole JaeHo thing. i like my joong straight as a line thank you. |
