I'm not sure if its over, but I was quite scared when I read this. And dave is right, it's just not right to be overly suspicious at fellow members. The people who have not posted at all should be removed.
So dave found Nao Hirana as a staff in a sports academy. Hmmm, I think we're jumping the gun abit, it's strange to have someone like that to be suing us, shouldn't they be in avex or something? |

| just because dave found A nao hirano does not mean he found THE nao hirano. it is possible nao is some office nerd working for avex and therefore no internet record exists. it would not be a safe assumption to jump the gun and call this a fake considering what a mess this whole forum would be in if we are wrong and go about defying this warning. |

Oh yep, I guess you're right, there could be like a million Nao Hiranos in this world. What exactly is DMCA anyway? I'll keep my mouth shut now. |

DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) is basically a U.S. law that enforces copyright infringments.
Article from wiki

| well...the default non-registered user skin has been changed to yumekui. maybe eyn is just hiding the renai shashin header to the registered users. in that case, i think it would be good to hide this thread to. |

Well, it looks like eyn has hidden this entire section now.
It's good to see that he's making sure things go on as usual. |

Gosh, you guys scared me! Well, I 've been gone, and like, when I came back, ya know? I went to Ch-Ai, and it was Yumekui! I was kinda confused. I thought maybe eyn was making the new CHU-LIP board style, or something. Oh, and I dunno where the login thing is on on the Yumekui style. I'll find it eventually, I suppose...
I'm really sorry to hear about this. Making things VIP seems like a good option. How many VIP's are there exactly? I know I'm one though...
I hope this issue will be resolved. I really don't want anything bad to happen to our precious forum!
I'm sorry this has to happen to you, eyn. I hope whoever this is decides to get a life and leave us alone.
And I wish you luck in school. |

For example, people's videos being removed from Youtube and the Channel Ai gallery closing.
The internet should not be controlled.
It should remain 100% unregulated.
I'm so sick of the government sticking it's big nose in where it's not wanted or needed.
We're already controlled enough in real life.
The internet used to be a place where we could say what we wanted and share things.
The man won't allow people to be free though...
Not even virtually.
Ahem 2 words: child porn.
I think that might make you think that if the internet was a little less free and had some government control, it would prevent this from spreading, even if its just a bit. |

If the internet is more controlled do you really think that will stop sickos from existing?
Child porn will just be spread using another medium.
Sickos will continue to exist no matter how much the government controls the internet.
The majority of people using the internet are not pedophiles so why should we all suffer?
And anyway, that wasn't my point.
Last time I checked, the Channel Ai gallery contained no child porn.
We're not doing any harm with videos on youtube or pictures in the Channel Ai gallery.
So why censor them? |

That's bad.. But really, images are that copyrighted, I never knew.. Copyright issues are really bad, and I can't even imagine what would happen, if they spot all the downloads on the forum, that could lead into serious trouble, like getting sued.
On the other hand we don't know if this person is a true person or just someone who acclaims that those are copyrighted to her.. |

I'd say the person's fake just on it seems weird that they'd take the time to go around to sites like this. But even if he's real, it's so dumb... I mean, there's no money being made on the pictures and stuff, and none of the photos being used were being claimed as being owned by anyone on Channel-Ai... oh what the world has come to~ *slaps hand to forehead* |

Copyright is copyright..
It doesn't matter if it's a photo or drawing or
what ever no matter how crappy or lame it might sound.
I don't know what to say about this Nao Hirano but
there's a 90% possibility
that this is true and not some prank by some office nerd.
i think we don't have
to be reminded by what had happened in youtube *hint'
THE ALL MIGHTY JASRAC
*Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers*
cleaned out the whole site from japanese artistest
that were associated with the major record labels in japan + plus some indies.
I must still say, that there's far more important thing's
that should be taken care of the by the authorities like Child Porn as davedim pointed out.
then copyright infringements, truly what hurts peoples more? let me ask... I hope there's not going to be a law suit against channel-ai. i hope the whole thing just settles down by its own. |

I just noticed this thread. school is taking over my life After reading everybody's comment, I still don't know what to say The person could be saying the truth, or he could be lying. I know, I'm not a big help I think it was on last Saturday that I tried to access the gallery to upload some scans, but I never felt like finding out what was going on *tries to stay away from the computer so that she can finish at least one part of her homework* |

Creepy, but why suddenly attack Channel-Ai? WHy must it be a Japanese guy?
Why Otsuka Ai? Why doesn't he attack a Hikaru Utada forum or something?
*Fishy Fishy*
Don't if this guy is for real, but could be.
I didn't these images were copyright either.....
And I don't like what Youtube is doing.....ever since their upgrade they went around finding all uploaded dramas, perfs, shows, etc. It sucks. |

Yeah but what others said, apparently; copyright is copyright. Even from drawings, images and even little buttons where you click to go where you want to go. They're all copyrighted unfortunately. I dunno what to say if this is true or not. But I just hope it's not true. |
