Hey guys, what does regulars means?????
I was using this gallery to make my wallpapers 
Now I have to find new material!!!

^ The "regulars" group is the group of people who are regularly on the forum. Or, the people who post and contribute. 
So, to join the regulars, just participate in conversations with us a lot, and eyn will add you.
I'm sorry about losing your materials to make wallpapers. That's a shame, since you make really good wallpapers...
You could have one of us regulars send you pictures or something from the gallery maybe, until you become a regular. 
But for now, just talk with us a lot, and you should be added soon.  |

| Stupid idiots just have to go around and reproduce and make life a living hell for the rest of us. I really wanted to see the new scans on the latest magazines too. Oh well. Eyn, you are a one man army in this world full of cyber dummies you know? I hope someone finds Nao guy and reveals his true identity. For now though, I think your countermeasures so far are reasonable and effective. I'm sure if Ai is watching or maybe if she is a part of the forum then she would want you to succeed too. |

i've tried searching on the topic and have found nothing, so sorry if it has been asked before.
how come when you now click on a thumbnial in the gallery, instead of it showing the larger/full size version it just goes to another page with the same thumbnail image. |

You have to become a 'regular' user in order to see the gallery. The reason for this is stated clearly in this thread. In order to become regular you just have to participate. There's no rule as to how much you must post. So you'll know when you become regular only when the time comes. If you really want to see Ai's pics but are not in the condition to participate, I'd rather recommend searching in the Net for her pics. There are some other good galleries, for example the Tokyo-Nights, which are open to all (and didn't get DMCA notice from anyone  ).

Really???..  ..cuz I remember someone told me that regulars have a special download section(with all of Ai downloads like the full CHU-LIP video  ) and eyn told me he was considering to make the gallery avaliable for everyone... |

Some small update on the issue. I initially plan to reopen the full access to the gallery for everyone again now that the issue has settled down a little but due to the nature of the pictures in the gallery, I'm afraid that might stir up another DMCA notice. For now, the gallery is only fully accessible by registered users who are logged in. Newly registered users on Channel-Ai will not be mapped to the gallery immediately, don't ask how to log into the gallery even though you can log into the forum.
Guest users can only view the small thumbnail at the moment. I was actually planning to turn off any access by guest users for maximum protection against this kind of issues again but the RSS feeds that power the portal requires permission for guest users to view the thumbnails. Once I figured out how to get pass this limitation, guest user will not be able to view even just the thumbnails.
All of this is to protect this site from possible DMCA notice while offering regular members convenient access to various pictures collected over the internet. |
