khafre78 wrote: Thanks. After I did this, I noticed that on another page that this among many other translations were done. The other translation makes more sense of what she is trying to say, putting it in more plain english, but this is very literal so you can feel the imagery of what is trying to be conveyed in Japanese. Japanese is tough because they convey ideas differently, so communicated with them is a big challenge. It takes a lot of practice.
I have seen lots of translations too, and many of them are different.
the best ones i've seen translated are subbed by someone at hellotracker. they're translated to have meaning in english, but then they differ from what is actually said in japanese.
that is why i appreciate these translations you and CETMA have made here

that is why i like this music so much! the sound and the meaning in many of otsuka's (and also ayu's and a lot of other artists' (chihiro, chitose etc) songs i have not heard in music before.
i guess that's why i got into this.
some japanese music also have lyrics that dont mean much, music which just is fun music..
i really like utada's lyrics in english, i have never heard rhymes like that in any songs before. it also seems that she let her imagination go crazy making the exodus album, because i've never heard sounds like that before!
thank you again for having done this translation |

| 思う means "think" while 想い means "imagine" i believe. Cool translations though, keep it up. |
