Well, this is what boredom can do to a person.
So, I just finished this wallpaper, and well, it's my first one and I use Windows Image Editor 2006, but it's just the starter edition. So...I can't really do much with it, but I suppose it's enough.
(YES!! I finally got it to work! I saved it again as a .jpg so it' be smaller, in case that was the prob, and it worked! So enjoy it as a widescreen wallpaper now! )
I also did a few other Ai edits. I was just playing around, but I'll show you guys anyway.
Harhar...blue hair...
I think that one turned out really pretty. I changed the coloring a little from the original, and it looks a little less like a funeral now, I guess.
Don't even ask with that one...
Some of you might recognize that one's original. But I softened it a bit, and brightened it a lot. I like mine better than the original!
A new one! Well, I made this yesterday, and I think it's really pretty! I added the tiniest hint of pink to her lips so they weren't really bright white. It's very subtle, but it makes a difference. I also added light blue to the bubbles and the marble so they'd stand out a bit more.
This one is simple, but I like it. And I usually don't like things too simple, lol. I wanted to experiment with adding in shapes, i.e. the hearts. Also, I've wanted to do lines like that on an Ai pic for a little while now.
This one...well, I was trying out the hue changer, and this is what happened. I thought it looked a little like pop art, so I put POP! on it, and made it look like it was popping out. Plus, I saw "Music & Lyrics" yesterday, and the 80's band was called POP! in the movie, lol. So it reminded me of it a little...
Psaicadellic! Or, you could say "Because Ai got high." You know that old song? Well, whatever, anyway! This one I thought was really cool. The only part I didn't like too much was how her face ended up so faded-out looking. But, it actually kinda works, so it doesn't have too much color in it.
A slight variation on the background. It's a bit more...subdued. I dunno which I like better, I like both. So...you can use your own opinion/judgements on that.
I redid it in yellow tones!
I really don't have an explanation for this one...but it's a Biidama PV screenshot.
Just messin' with colors...as you guys can see, I'm reusing some of my favorite ones. The colors change really well on these! Guess it's the lighting.
Oh guys...my trial's expired. So I can't do all the cool things I could before...but I can still do some things. Next time I get out to an electronics store, I might purchase the big suite program version so I can do cool things again.
That's all for now! I'll probably post more later, ok? |

Veeeeeeeeery nice first wallpaper !!!!!
BUT, I think you should immediately reupload it to imageshack with the right size(on the options when you upload where it says resize, make sure it is not ticked) because this size doesn't count as a wallpaper, just as a pretty picture.
Oh and what is Windows Image Editor 2006(any links???)?
If you want a free and good image editor, try "The Gimp", it's very good!!! |

^ Thanks for the feedback, both of you.
Ok, it's reupping right now. The box wasn't checked the first time, I made sure...so I dunno what's wrong, or why it did that... But this time, I told it to "optimize without resizing" so hopefully that'll work better.
Um, I dunno, this program is a free trial that came installed on my laptop... It's mostly used to like, change the colors or something on a photograph, so I dunno...I could try googling it or something, I suppose.
Ok, I'll look into that, thanks! The Gimp is a funny name.
@ Rissy
Glad you like the quote, actually I made it up, so I guess it's a quote from me!
EDIT: ARGH! It made it 800x500 again!!
Stupid crummy dooface imageshack! Hmm...maybe I'll tell it to resize for a different monitor size...I guess it hates 1280x800.
Ok, I'll make it the next best thing (I think...) 1280x1024...for a 19-inch monitor...Ok, let's see how this works...
EDIT AGAIN: Ok...it changed the size to...640x400?
Is there a better hosting website I should use? Or, like, a way to make it not mess with the size?!
This is ridiculous... |

Haha the first one is kinda like... Burn ai's pictures!! BURRRRNN!!
And I see you took advantage of Ai's name with the picture with the Ais in the back, hahaha. Which reminds me of when I went over to a friend's house recently and like we were tired of playing guitar and so she was like "let's draw pictures of Otsuka Ai and YUI (they're our favorite artists)" And then she was saying something about how "she likes to draw eyes" and then she was like "I meant eyes, not Otsuka Ais" hahaha and then we just laughed, yeah lol. |

nice work kerushii! i will comment on them individually...
1) i don't really know about matching up renai shashin theme and...burning and ashes? but it looks nice. if i didn't have to fear for ai's safety...
2) thank you for sharing what ai would look like with blue hair. now i am certain it looks better the way it is now.
3) this one turned out great!
4) eheheheh...um. wow. sorry this one is a bit too weird for my taste.
5) this one also turned out great. simple stuff looks simply great. at least that is what i think. |

| I never had this problem with imageshack, but just search for "image hosting" with yahoo/google and you will find tons of free hosting sites. |

Wow! I didn't expect so much feedback! I'm flattered!
Thanks for your compliments, everyone.
And well, with the first wallpaper, I was gonna try and make the Renai Shashin screenshots into little printout camera photos, you know? With the white borders and stuff, but while I was trying to, the edges got all messed up like that and I thought they looked burnt. So I decided to do this instead. So...it was an accident!
With most of these I was just playing around and stuff. Not really making anything in particular. You can especially see that with the one with all the Ais, and her multi-ful hair.
And I'm glad I inspired you, cherrydreamer!
I'll try and upload the wallpaper again so that it's an actual wallpaper and you guys can use it or something.
EDIT: I added some new ones! Still no luck on that wallpaper though! I'll keep tryin'... |

hm...kerushii are you still having size issues with imageshack? all the ones you uploaded now were 240x320...
anyway i liked the first two of the new bunch. then the last three were like...yeah a bit colorful for my taste. (a bit of a strange comment considering the first one has a very similar style to the third one...maybe it has to do with choice in colors...) but keep practicing! i know i can expect something awesome from you. |
