Wow that seems risky. Last minute attempt to buy the tix? if you are unable to get it, then you won't get to see the concert?

Actually we were supposed to meet one day before the concert day but I arrived late ( took 2 trains from Kensai to Tokyo) so we met a few hours before the concert and he didn't know where wil the concert be held, lol, luckily my Japanese friend was with me and she looked it up on the internet then we took a cap since we're running out of time and thank God my hotel wasn't that far.

sigh.. besides the troubles of obtaining tickets, now i'm wondering if i should go for the concert in Niigata or Nagano instead.

Smaller venues = closer to the stage = see more of Ai = better experience?

today i chatted with my friend in Japan and i feel really relieved now...
he confirmed me that it's way too hard to get Ai tickets since she's very popular and maybe he'll have to negotiate them with DAFUYA T__T
Now i wonder if i'm ready to shell out up to 20.000 yen for the concert Laughing

Good luck to you guys trying to get tickets. It seems almost impossible unless you have a Japanese friend to seriously help you out. This is all very worrying... even when I get to Japan it looks like I'm going to have to really rely on people's pity of my gaijin stupidity to help me out with tickets for things, haha.

No, I'm aiming to go to Japan around November time but I'll be there for a while so I'll want to try and go to a couple of big pop concerts. Not too fussed about who I see really Smile

haha.. i see.. it's nice to go traveling at your own pace & see the things that you want to see.. Smile

btw, here's the Lawson site that contains the info to ai-chan's concert tickets sale..

Just like what Hitokirizac had mentioned, the tix go on sale from 21st April for the 1st concert, and 28th Apr for the ones in Tokyo..

All that's left is the "simple" Shifty task of getting the tickets..

If anybody needs help understanding the info and forms on Japanese websites for buying tickets to this show, let me know; I can probably help you. I had to figure out lots of these things while I was living in Japan, for booking bus and train tickets and hotels and such.

Since most Japanese people don't have credit cards, for things like this you usually make a reservation online, then use one of the little kiosks you can find at most convenience stores to pay for it. You either get the tickets printed out at the store, or they will be sent by mail.

most japanese don't have credit cards? somehow I find that quite surprising.. another of those wrongly pre-conceived notion..

hmm..trying to get my friend who happens to be on a study exchange in Tokyo to help me out..

It is true for as tech advanced as they are the Japanese tend to use cash more than anything else, and many stores are cash only. (especially places to eat. if you are gonna go eat make sure you have cash to pay just in case!!)

I wanted to go the Osaka concert soo badly but they are so damn expensive!! She's from Osaka so I'm sure that is gonna be the most expensive and packed the most. But the only other one I can go to is the Okinawa one...and Okinawa is like...50+x hotter than the rest of Japan x__x and that is HOT.

You should attend where you can, yes? I prefer to attend Osaka concert but I will be in Japan only during Tokyo concert, so I will attend there, anyway my new friend lives in Tokyo and we shall attend together, this will be fun for both! I think Okinawa is fine for concert anyway, but kind of hot, this is truth.

awww I want to see Ai live sooooooooo much. I will be going to Japan in July, most likely
arrive on the 3rd in Tokyo! Was originally planning to fly to Yakushima but could go to
Okinawa instead, or go to Kobe to one of her concerts.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! the thought of me being in Japan while Ai is performing and not being able to go is so sad Crying

Somebody help me get tickets! I will buy you flowers and everything! lol

*gets down on knees and begs japanese style* (while your favourite sad ai song plays in the background)

Is there nobody on this forum who is in Japan that can get me tickets?

For the past day I have tried so hard with my friend who knows Japanese to find online sites that sell the tickets but none do overseas.

http://www.kyodo-osaka.co.jp/schedule/E003138-1.html

This site has the phone numbers for the tickets which are going on sale very soon.. so if there is someone who can get me a ticket or preferably 2 tickets for this date:

7/5 ー ☆神戸国際会館 こくさいホール ー Kobe International Hall

I will be eternally gratefully, and obviously pay you for helping me out. I think those are special hotlines which only stay open for the 1st day...

If you can help add me on msn nalivar@hotmail.com - I'll be leaving it on all the time for when I'm around.

Ahh.. this is so horrible I feel like crying, can't stress how much it would mean to me to see Ai live... I'm sure plenty of people on this forum feel the same, but the difference is that I'll actually be in Japan for that date and the one after, and completely able to attend it, but I just can't get tickets for it!

I am at work tomorrow so I can't even get my friend to call up and try to see if they'll send the tickets over here... why does it have to be so difficult to get some tickets!

*the end* lol
