Mocchi
It's fluffy, not too sweet, and it has an interesting texture. It's sort of like merengue only more like taffy at the same time.
I've only tried red bean filling, but I wonder how good coconut or peanut butter ones are like.
The best thing about it is that it isn't really really sugar blasted like lots of candy in stores, and it utilizes the bean's natural flavor to enhance it's richness. |

i know that kind of mochi... bake every new year, and very dangerous for old man.
but talking about fave snack, i don't have. as long as the snack isn't so sweet, then it will be my evening snack. but pudding or ice cream still be ok.
btw, i like a snack from calbe, but forget what flavor. if i'm not wrong, that is sweet potato |

@Tatsuka Ito
I feel sorry for those 12 people per year. There was this jelly snack with a cube of coconut in the middle that got introduced here and caused several deaths among children from choking also. |

hmmm... my favourite would have to be anton berg plum in madeira. marzipan with plum and chocolate. it may not sound that tasy with plum, but it's REALLY good.
i'm a big fan of geisha too. |

I have so many favourite snacks.
But right now, the ultimate is Loacker!!! I love the cocoa flavour especially. But it is so sinful, yet absolutely tasty!!
A classic favourite is of course, the Hello Panda. |
