| Has Ai had plastic surgery? I was talking to some friend, and all of the girls fervently stated that they didn't like Ai Otsuka because she got plastic surgery and doesn't look how she did before anymore. I always thought they were just airbrushing her and whatnot, or is there any truth to this? Not that is matters, I still like her no matter what they tell me. (they claim Avril Lavigne is 100x cuter that Ai which is crazy in my opinion) |

hmm.... i've never heard of her having plastiv surgery. and that anyone can think that Avril is 100x cuter than Ai is just shocking.  i would say it's the other way around. although 100x might not be enough.  |

Avril 100x cuter than Ai?  As mangomalte said, make it turn the opposite way and you got the correct answer. Ai having plastic surgery? Nope, I never heard of any news about that. I do not see much changes in Ai's apperance since her debut.  |

I remember there was a post somewhere which discussed Ai having an eye-lift or something.
It's all speculation and even if it is true, you wouldn't stop listening to her just because of that would you? 
Her talent and personality prevails, not bigger eyes or higher nose. It shouldn't matter much of what your friends say, they are entitled to their own opinion. If they don't like Ai then so be it, you can't force them  . |

BENZWONG is right, they have their own opinion and its alright it is also ok if they don't like/appreciate Ai, although, also in my opinion... they are missing a... ... very good thing!.. or something, im lost for words, sorry

then after doing plastic surgery, ai face will become famous until so~so years.
nah, then tell your friend IMO that ai otsuka is 1000x cuter than avril lavigne |

I agree with Benzwong too. It's her talent, her songs, her characteristics, her smile etc. that make me love her.
And about plastic surgery, I've heard long, long ago that almost all Japanese (and Korean too) singers had plactic surgery to improve their look. So I don't give it much thought. We can't avoid the painful truth that in this world good appearance produces more impression on people than the talent or what's inside.......
And I see no point in comparing Ai with Avril. Too many differences....

there're too many information says actor/actress doing plastic surgery, although i don't that's real or fake.

I still like Ai no matter what. If she wants to get plastic surgery that is fine, all to her for having the money to do so xD Hell, if I had the money I would so get plastic surgery to get my ugly old acne scares off so I don't have to wear make-up anymore!
Nonoono, this conversation came up when talking with Japanese people. I tend to hang out with Japanese boys and not girls(and they of course all think she is cute, etc), and like 7 outta ten girls don't like Ai because they say that she got plastic surgery. I just wanted to know if it that was true or not. |

I don't know if she had plastic surgery or not. People discuss about her eyes.
It's just that when things like these are being discussed, people might doubt about "her image" sometimes. If she did have plastic surgery, it doesn't affect her singing talent. So actually it doesn't really matter. |

I admire her more for her singing and composing talent than just looks, and also her quirky characteristic Dont really matter if she had plastic surgery or not, it doesnt affect muc right? As the others have said, having good appearance and looks over character is always more "advantageous" being a fact, sometimes its inevitable.
Though I still dont really believe that, unless given solid proof. |

| Hum... I don't think she had to do it, she's perfect !!! But I think, because she's too cute, she will look young up to many years, so maybe whe will do some plastic surgery to look more mature ?? But I like our Ai-chan, and I don't want her to change !!! |

Many Asian women receive surgery to make eyelid fold, this is popular in Japan and Korea and also USA (although I did not do this, it was not necessary anyway because already my eyelid is folded). I do not know if Otsuka did this, but it is not important, it does not affect her relationship with us, and if she did then it makes her feel more confident, yes? Yes.
I do not know if Otsuka will look young all her life, I don't think so because everyone changes as growing older, but many people tell me that Asians look younger than caucasians same age, I cannot know if this is truth. |

In general, Asian women usually look younger than their Counterparts counterparts as age continues to about 40 - 50 ?
At that point, it's pretty hazy...
However, I can't help but notice that all Asian men seem to look really old even at 30...
I'm going to be an old maaaaaaaaaaaan~ NOOOOOOOO! |
