This drama is still currently airing. I've seen the first 3 episodes and it seems promising. It sort of reminds me of GTO but without the humour, as so far it seems it is of seriousness. I hope it turns out to be a well worth drama. I can't wait to see what happens with the class of 2-3 and with Rina. I love the theme song by YUI as well, it's great! |

I just watched the first episode and I can say I like it very much. For some reason I really enjoy high school doramas such as GTO, Gokusen, Dragonzakura, Nobuta wo Produce etc. I agree this dorama is more towards the serious side, and the soundtrack for this dorama seems pretty interesting as well, I like the way they uses those chant-like voices in those background music.
Nice to see Horikita Maki starring in this dorama, she and the English sensei are pretty much the only ones I recognize in this dorama, despite the fact that I have watched a lot of doramas and is able to recognize most actors in many doramas.
I think I'll keep chasing this dorama after the promising first episode. For those of you who can read Chinese, you can download the dorama with subs here. |

I really enjoy high school dramas as well; the ones that I have watched anyways and all the ones you have mentioned are included as well Have you seen a school based drama called Densetsu no Kyoshi? Nakai from SMAP was in that one and I found it to be really hilarious, especially with that comedian Matsumoto Hitoshi in it, although it was a 7 years ago drama.
I posted another one of Horikita Maki's dramas and it just happens to be another highschool drama There's only 1 episode out so far so it is still new. It seems very interesting with her disguising as a boy hehe. Oh and what did you think of the finale of seito shokun? Have you seen the finale? I won't talk about it here just incase you have not seen it yet. |

No I haven't seen it yet.
I finished this dorama quite a while ago and I highly recommend this dorama to anyone, definitely one of the best dorama this spring! Horikita Maki has a nice role in this dorama, and the story is quite dark yet motivating at the same time once all the issues are resolved. Because of the passion of the teacher, each student eventually get touched by her sincerity and changed their attitude to become a better person.
Regarding the finale, it's pretty satisfying and they did a good wrap up for the story. Everything is well concluded IMO, much better than many dorama that have an ending that leaves many thing unexplained. |
