How about the concert at "To-ji Temple in Kyoto, Japan"?

From the factsheet, it is going live on 11:00 p.m. 7/7, but will Ai-chan be there? I have no idea what do they mean "SPECIAL BROADCAST EVENTS". My guess is a rerun or a "concise" version of the "Official Concert".

from the schedule:
Quote:
LIVE EARTH KYOTO (Special Broadcast Event)
11:00 p.m. Local Start 7/7
10:00 a.m. EDT 7/7
(not representative of running order; TBA)
BONNIE PINK
MICHAEL NYMAN
RIP SLYME
UA
YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA

edit: while switching thru the channels on liveearth.msn, I went back to seeing the japan channel, as the performance is over, they were just showing commercials, then this poped out.

omfg, how can they spell ai-chin's name wrongly. Surprised Mad

edit2: the liveearth.msn video streaming now writes: "next up Bonnie Pink" Surprised and that means that thats the kyoto performance.

I went to sleep after Ai-chan finished and I just woke up and the Kyoto concert is just about to start! Beautiful timing! Bonnie Pink yay! It's only a short concert because it's 11pm in Japan. I think I'll watch this one all the way through because I know everyone playing.

*edit - Bah! They changed the running order.

**edit - There's something dodgy going on with the Japan stream. It's meant to be showing the Kyoto concert but it went from saying Bonnie Pink was on in 5 minutes to Rip Slyme being on, then UA was on.... then they repeated both performances and now they're playing Genki Rockets live music but with a black screen..... the stream says it is "Japan - Full Concert"...... ARGH! Ok I'm a bit angry now.......... unless there's some major malfunction going on at the Kyoto concert.... they're showing the whole Tokyo show again..... ah well I can watch Ai-chin again I suppose....

They're repeating the Tokyo concert in full so I will let you know when Ai-chin will be on. It should be in about an hour. Ayaka is being shown in ten minutes.

I'm so angry though, they messed up the stream from Kyoto and only showed Rip Slyme and UA. I'm going to have to wait until they replay it (if they do) but I've no idea when that will be......... Grrrrrrr!!

Guys, if you didn't see Ai-chan live (about 12 hours ago) then read through the last couple of pages of this thread and re-live it Giggle

hikkichan has uploaded the performance of several artists participating in Live Earth Tokyo, including that of Ai-chin. Check out in Jpopsuki. Smile

I've finished dl-ing LOVE MUSIC. To tell the truth I don't like the music arrangement at all. The song sounds too slow, monotone and quite boring, despite the fact that LOVe MUSIC is one of my favourite songs... Sad

The UK show is all over now.

I was quite surprised how many people were singing along with Metallica. Foo Fighters went down really well too.

Chris Rock swearing live on TV twice was a highlight for me Giggle He was saying how he'd never had a proper gig in the UK...... I'm not sure if he'll ever get on TV here again haha.

The BBC's coverage was quite poor, they kept cutting off the last song in people's sets just to show stuff from around the world that wasn't even live.

It looks like they're not showing a replay of the Kyoto show.............. grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! It says "next up - Genki Rockets" so that's going back to the beginning of the replay of the Tokyo concert. Hopefully somebody recorded it from the TV and will put it online somewhere.
