雨色パラソル - Rain Colored Parasol -

Translation:
On a bright day I was carrying an umbrella
It was a big colorless thing
I wondered if I should open it
Then the rain began to fall so I opened it
And I saw you there protecting yourself from the rain
I can slightly remember it
The distance between us
And that taste of love
Are only the colors of the rain
But it's ok
I will only smile and jump in the puddles
I feel really empty
Your lies broke my heart
Now, even if I understand
Now, even if I cried
I feel i have to help you
The sound of the rain that we listened together
And that taste of love
Are only the colors of the rain
If we meet again,
I'll try to smile and jump over the puddles
When the rain stops, I'll leave this here and go...
The distance between us
And that taste of love
Are only the colors of the rain
But it's ok
I will only smile and jump over the puddles |

wow! what a great song that i just discovered today!
definitely a feel-good song that would lift my spirits on any cloudy or rainy day.
it's like the blue, cool, and calm version of 'strawberry jam'.
subtly jazzy, lightly colorful; what a song
love it!
5☆'s!
vllasko.com is down today for some reason
i hope the site and the webmaster's alright. |

Thanks for sharing these!
I'm just getting my copy of Amaenbo single and I wanted to know what this song is all about
It's a very nice song (Ame Iro Parasol) though I'll need to get used to it a bit. |

I just realized it's not Ameiro, but Amairo.
All words that start with 雨 change the termination of the kanji from "ame" to "ama".
For example:
雨具 (amaku) - rain gear
雨がさ (amagasa) - umbrella
雨だれ (amadare) - raindrops |

I found that some other Ai-Chin fan clubs have also mistaken amairo as ameiro.
I have just replaced the lyrics in Hong Kong fan club, Thanks Rodri. |

| Rodri, i would get more confirmation of this if i were you. the translator Vllasko does not agree and even a web-based kanji-to-romanji translator produces an ame prefix. |

Yeah..I put ameiro because vllasko did it..but if you listen to Ai...you can hear crearly shes singing "amairo".
If you use a kanji-to-romanji translator it translates as "ame shoku"...
Actually amairo isn't a word you can find on a dictionary...is the same in english..it's composed of two words: rain-colored...and the pronunciation of each one is ame (rain) and iro(color)..but you know that when you use two kaji to make a word, most of times it changes its pronunciation..
If you take them as two separate words it could be Ame Iro...but listen to Ai and tell me what you think
I'll ask my friend for confirmation |

The similar things happen, such as hoshi no tango and kurage naganeboshi.
Japanese and many other Asian languages, the prononciation can be different for a same word/character when it is being used in different situations.
Most time, I believe my dictionary and my ears, but anyway, I'll also ask my Japanese friends for confirmation. |

Ok..I talked with my friend who is japanese and even he doesn't know how to pronnounce it ..he says that maybe it could be red both ways, but Amairo seems to sound better xD
But I'm gonna trust my ear..I clearly hear that Ai sings "Amairo" |
