Synopsis
This home comedy tells the story of Kyoichiro (Tachi Hiroshi) and his teenage daughter Koume (Aragaki Yui). One day, the two ride a train together after visiting Kyoichiro's mother-in-law. He sees it as a chance to get to know his daughter better, but he ends up getting more than that - by some mysterious force, both Kyoichiro and Koume end up with their mind in the other's body! Unfortunately, they have no choice but to swap lives, pretending to be each other at school and work.
My Opinion
How can this not have a thread yet? This show is comedy gold. Gakki is so adorable and the guy who plays her dad is flat out hilarious! One of my favorites that is currently airing.  |

I watched it every week. It was SOOO good. The plot was cute, the acting was good. I wasn't expecting much when I heard it compared to some sorta "Father-Daughter Freaky Friday" story, but it really wasn't at all like Freaky Friday. Plus YUKI finally got do a dorama theme song for it  I was really happy about that too. |

Aragaki Yui got quite little impact in the movie. It focuses more on papa's workplace, making Tachi Hiroshi shine out in the movie. Overall it was an OK dorama for me. Nothing classic.
Btw, notice Kawahara Koume humming to the song of Sakuranbo at the last ep? |

Sakuranbo is hummed in several episodes of this dorama, its popularity is very apparent.  Anyway this dorama is very interesting and funny, Gakki is so cute and she's pretty much the reason why I keep chasing this until the last episode.  Good story with a good message. |

| oh yeah, this drama is super cute! it was little too short, I wished there was more! The Nishino storyline was kind of weird, though, didn't like that too much. the main storyline was really strong, especially the KentaxKoume storyline. =) |

Just started my holidays and to kick it off, I watched 4 episodes of this J-dorama in a row! Gakki is so cute Rather unbelievable and the whole character swap wasn't very well explained but other than that, very enjoyable!
Edit: Just finished watching...I suppose the body swap was...adequately explained though the explanation wasn't that impressive. Cute story though with a nice meaning behind it. Gakki.... |
