Yoshi. Since I became a fan of J-Dorama I would really like to know who´s your favorite actor/actress.
To begin with, my favorite male actors are:
- Nagase Tomoya (My boss my hero)
- Nishikido Ryo (1 Litre of Tears)
- Tanaka Koki (My boss my hero)
and actress:
- Aragaki Yui  (My boss my hero)
- Sawajiri Erika (1 Litre of Tears, Taiyou no Uta)
- Toda Erika (Nobuta wo Produce)

Nice topic! It will be more interesting if all replies comes with pictures of your favourite actor/actress. 
My favourite Japanese actors:
- Kimura Takuya (Long Vacation, Beautiful Life, Engine, Karei-naru Ichizoku)
- Yamashita Tomohisa (Dragonzakura, Nobuta wo Produce, Proposal Daisakusen)
- Yamada Takayuki (H2, Sekai wo Chuushin, Byakuyakou)
My favourite Japanese actress:
- Nagasawa Masami (Dragonzakura, Nada Sousou, Proposal Daisakusen)
- Sawajiri Erika (1 Litre of Tears, Taiyou no Uta)

Hmm...I don't watch much J-dorama, only about 4-5 ones so my choice is not so wide. Here it is:
Actor - Tamaki Hiroshi (Nodame Cantabile, Waterboy, )
He was not so famous before Nodame Cantabile. He also starred in 'Tada Kimo wo Aishiteru'.
Actress - I like many actresses but can't decide who should be the most favourite. Actually when thinking about female idols I always think only about Ai-chin.  |

Love his style. Tends to play supporting roles and sexy!mysterious character.
Tamaki Hiroshi
[Nodame Cantabile, Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru]
Very expressive. One of the few jap actors i've seen that have cried on screen X3.
Matsumoto Jun
[Hana Yori Dango, Gokusen, Bambino]
I always see him playing different types of characters, i love actors who do that.
Nishikido Ryo
[1 Litre of Tears, Attention Please]
I like watching him act X3.
Kazunari Ninomiya
[Letters from Iwo Jima, Stand Up!]
he's very serious at what he's doing and can pull off different types of characters. especially loved his performance in Letters from Iwo Jima.

| Not having watched that many J-dramas, I can only really say that my favourite actress is Sawajiri Erika, mainly because it was only her movies/dramas at I've watched. I also watched Otsuka Ai's Tokyo Friends but I don't really believe it was anything special. Personally, while it's fun to watch Otsuka Ai act, I'd prefer if she just stuck to singing and being the real Otsuka Ai. |
