i try to explain this somehow
Being a producer equals as the same as an artist in these days:
you write your songs/lyrics perform them etc..
like Ai does...if you take a look on Love Cook CD's production notes:
you see what i try to say & mean.
Produced by Ai Otsuka:
Meaning, she wrote the lyrics; wrote the songs, and perfomed them.
Some artist do engineering by them self which includes mixing/recording
and sound directing
But clearly it is stated on the love cook production notes that
these are not done by Ai. rarely an artist that has do not have her own label contract does this by them self.
and more so this needs talent and great aknoledge of what are you doing in, Its totally diferent from just writing songs.

in pop music like Ai does this means, ikoman adds parts for orchestral or band instruments involving new material such that the arrangers may reasonably be considered co-composers, although for copyright and royalty purposes usually are not. Rhythm section parts are usually improvised or otherwise invented by the performers themselves using chord symbols or a lead sheet as a guide. (Rhythm section instruments include guitars, bass guitars, string basses, piano and other keyboard instruments, and drums.)

i been studying/working as a temporary media assistant,
way back then when i was studying.
so i know how things goes down in this business,
these are the brains behind the consept of what the cover should look like
and they make it happen after they have had the agreement between varios members of the production team.
And then they pass it to Head of director, which makes the call from most of the stuff that happens in the session. Of course Ai is involved in here too, but it is not his job to desing the cover, just more like they ask what she things aboujt this and etc...you understand?
And no Madeem, you got me wrong, that was directed for Maku not for you,
you didint power out my opinnion no .....not at all 
and as i said i respect your opinnion, and im glad to have this conversation
with you....in the first place.
And yes, no Im not saying im totally right about everything  I 'm not that much of a fool
that i belive everything i say is right. hope this cleared something even the tension in the air i feel hopefully 
and then to AYU, i dont listen him much
so i wount comment on her and what is involved in her career. |

seems like that really might be the cover....I was going to yesasia and saw that pic as the cover of the album. its not bad, I think its pretty cute.  |

Hmm...the "cover" is pretty...interesting. I think they had fun making it, for sure. I think it's really cool looking, but it doesn't really look much like a CD cover.  But whatever, maybe it'll grow on me.
And the more I see it, the cooler I think it is! I saw it first as 1337rice's avatar, and thought it was really cool, and I was thinking that rice must be very talented with PS, but then I saw the post saying it was the cover, and I was like, "Oh, I see." 
And yeah, the photobook will probably be about the size of the CD case, that's what the YounHa one I got was like. 
And I hope White Choko comes out soon too! Gosh, it's been way too long of a wait! 
Well, and I obviously can't wait for the release of LOVE PiECE, too! Like, sometimes I forget about it, and then my mom asks me to go get the mail, and I remember it again, and I realize how long of a wait I still have!  
But oh well.
Hopefully it'll be worth it. |

If you were studying as a media assistant then what more can I say? xD You have bigger knowledge than me without doubt, since mine is only based on my own 'invastigation'. ^^" But still I can't totally agree with you and I think that artist has a influence on his image (especially when he's also a producer). I'll mention about Ayu once again. xD Although she's not a producer, some of her CD's artworks were her ideas and she was even managing her staff during photoshoot and stuff. I was always imagining that producer's role is to create and produce someone's image so that's why I thought that it's possible that LOVE PiECE cover was Ai's idea (since she's a producer).
But how it's for real, probably only Otsuka and her staff know. xD

| You know, I was looking more closely at the LOVE PiECE cover, and it looks like each piece of the puzzle is from one of her past singles or albums possibly. Like, the yellow one looks like it could be from Neko ni Fuusen, and the black one could be from Planetarium or Kingyo Hanabi, and the purple one...I'm not sure, but maybe Frienger...I'm not sure about some of the others though...and I'm not entirely sure about this, I'm just speculating. But what does everyone else think? |

| lol im typing this on my ds lite... anyways...about the cover,i HAD thought about the different covers and putting it together, but isnt this album not supposed to have song from the previous 3 LOVE albums? so i dont really think the planetarium part of the cover would be there... |

Hmmm, interesing cover there, though concept isnt new I still think its good.(although its hard to come up with something no one has totally thought about before nowadays)

Yea, i was trying to figure it out, but I only knows the one with the fur caot is probably from love cook.
Also, I noticed the 6 different colour jewel boxes for the 1st press bonus are the colours from the 6 jigsaw pieces from the pic. |

Hmm..I dunno. The different colored covers from the puzzle pieces thing sounds right, but I'm noticing the different hair styles too.  Well, I dunno.
But the cover looked so sad without any words, so I just added some for my benefit to look at. I put "KerushiiAi" on it, so there's no confusion with people thinking that it's the real cover.
Oh, and I may have played with the lighting a bit...

hmm i never really noticed about the cover...
i think yellow is neko ni fuusen or renai shashin(the side bangs lol), black is planetarium, purple yumekui, green is love cook..i don't know anymore...just guesses ahaha

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I don't know if that's what she did though, since it's all singles, and then the LOVE COOK one just appears outta nowhere. It's kinda inconsistent, you know? But maybe she did that anyway, I dunno.
So red or blue is Frienger prolly...I think red, and I think blue could be Renai Shashin.
Oh man...imagine if she had CHU-LIP in there...just like...RANDOM BLONDE PERSON ATTACK!!! |
