Im just curious to know what u would classify "perfection" as. For example... a perfect day for me would be to see my boyfriend Tristan It may be simple, but I rarely get to see him and whenever I get to spend time with him, I am so incredibly happy because it feels as if all reality has stopped and I am just there with him, enjoying our times together. |

Since I exclusively search for perfection in what I do (mainly art, for example), my definition of perfection would come together with satisfaction. That, obviously is subjective, as my best song might or might not be the same for everyone. If a song I write fulfills my expectations (being that having an interesting structure, a cool riff here, a touching climax, for example) AND can actually get someone to feel something, I can say it's perfect, thus, I am satisfied and my mission's complete.
Or something like that.

lol that sounds amazing. I feel the same way with my music. I know everyone is entitled to their opinions but If I could just touch one persons heart, then I am very happy. |

I believe that cancer will be cured someday assuming we don't all kill each other first.
But I wouldn't call it a miracle.
As for "true love", I believe it's just a combination of chemical reactions and love is sort of fickle.
So anyway, onto perfection.
Considering that perfection is subjective (i.e - different for each individual) and the fact I'm pretty much nihilistic about what I want from life, it's hard to say what I think perfection is.
I'd probably describe perfection as living life without having to hate anything again.
If that makes any sense at all... |

I'm not a doctor or studying science or medicine so I can't really say if there will be a cure for cancer in the future, since I don't even know much about cancer.
True love? I've never been in love before. So I'm guessing not. But my parents really love each other, so I guess yeah?
I put "sort of" because I'm not sure.
As for perfection, or what it is to me... perfection is when things align really well and you capture it in a photograph! Of course, I'm a photography nut, hence my answer. But that's what I think. |

I believe that miracles do happen. Nothing is impossible with God.
If it is God's will, it can happen. Just have faith |

I think true love is not miracle. I didn't faced my true love. Is there anyone who faced true love? I also think cure for cancer is not a miracle. It's just an exploration. If we cured cancer we'll face another illness like AIDS. If we cured AIDS we'll face another and so on.

Perfection. That's a very questionable word to me. It really depends on what situation. But I do believe that it's possible for miracles to come true. I believe in a lot of miracles in particular like meeting Ai Otsuka.
Although I have never experienced cancer or true love, I believe there's always a will and a way.

I agree, yet disagree...and I have faced true love, and u will too one day. As for curing cancer..yeah it is an exploration..but theyre exploring for the soul purpose of finding a cure...and hopefully one day they do...and once they do..they will go on toothers and so on. |

Exactly for cancer, a new medicine have been researched and is undergoing further research, from a news section i saw in in the net, a TV board cast in Canada or somewhere. I can't really remember. They were saying it is better than the medicines now but seem that drug store won't use them because they won't be able to earn. Weird though. Anyone who disagrees and have heard of it, free feel to share.
And for true love, i don't really believe in it. Forever is not a term to be use to match with this. However, i believe true love may lasts for a few years some some 10 years. But forever, i don't think so. Like if a man does anything for the gal she like and vice-versa, i think they are in the time period of the true love which will expire.
As for the meaning of perfection, i don't believe it can happen to masses, not even individual. So i may deem it as a word that is connected to fantasy. Don't go for perfection is what i think. You may fall deeper than when u started because i think i will consist chains of depression. |

I agree. In a fantasy/science fiction novel, you may read about utopias and perfect worlds, but that cannot exist in our world. Thus, my definition for perfection is that it does not exist, but it is a fantasy or dream that many strive to achieve. I don't think that anyone or anything can be perfect. Our world is meant to be imperfect and no one is flawless. Our flaws help us to build and develop a world that can be close to "perfect", but as long as we are human, it cannot be a utopia. It's better that way, in my opinion, or we'd all be living in a "Brave New World" ... |

Perfection is something that no human can imagine, because we are imperfect. So I think that our idea of perfection isn't really even perfect at all. Cause like tamini said, while sci-fi stories have this utopias, it's just impossible. But then again, those utopias in sci-fi are usually dystopian in reality. So that's my little spiel. |
