Well...i have to explain ahead that i AM a super fan of ai
but yesterday i found this site from youtube that actually compares ai's songs to others songs,
saying that either ai or the other artisits had copied the songs (i know it's bad explaination..)
please refer to this site http://fish.kakiko.com/toutsukai/
i believe ai will not do such boring thing to cause trouble for herself but after listening to some of the comparsons, some of them REALLY seems to be similiar....
i am and still will be a super fan of ai but this made me kinda disappointed(not of ai but ..something's wrong with me ... Sneeze )...
i dont really know why.. Crying

Gosh. Some of them do sound rather similar. But I believe that this wasn't intentional. Ai-chin is still the best and is producing Originals.

That was a really pathetic attempt at accusing her of plagiarism.

Even the slightest similarities were cut from certain songs and presented to make it look like they sounded similar.

I especially liked where they compared Himawari's version of Sakuranbo to Otsuka Ai's.

Otsuka Ai wrote that song and was the vocalist in that band before her solo career.

People do this to any artist. Didn't ORANGE RANGE have a scandal over copying? Except they admitted to it or something...

lol what i think is that they are Taiko no Tatsujin singers. LOL really, when i was playing Sakuranbo, the voice sounds just like that and it does not sound like Otsuka Ai.
ppl keep saying that they're copied and crap...its like DJ OZMA for example, AGE AGE EVERY NIGHT had a diff. beat but the same lyrics as the original korean DJ's AGE AGE EVERY NIGHT (forgot his name). After they found out that DJ OZMA debuted in Korea FIRST and then moved to Japan, they stopped talking lol

That wouldn't make sense considering that it was Otsuka Ai.

Like I already said in my last post:

Gosh. Surprised What I really think of these people who hosted the video must be real jerks just to compare one song to another just to criticise one particular artist. Like dave said, it's only bits of the song. It's just disgracing how people attack other artists. No

Rofl, yes, do these people even know what are they doing?

These kind of stuff happens all the time, accusations and all, especially when you're famous.

This is the most comprehensive website I've ever seen comparing her songs with other songs. This person either hates her or loves her to have heard so many of her songs!

Anyway, although I agree that some songs are similar, this is the way for many songs in the world and not just Ai-chin's songs. And anyway, the arrangement, way of singing, lyrics and everything is mostly different, so I don't really see a point in making such comparisons.

Pointing fingers in this case...is unnecessary,
anyone familliar with music and its theories should know that you are bound to
run to similliar cases all the time, when you do pop music....pop music is like recycling
old material!
you take someones old idea...run it trough your own brains and mold it into something different and new.

This is like when George Harrison copied Ronald Macks He's So Fine on his
own song My Sweet Lord and accused it happened in accident. Hey, who knows
did that really happen or not? But I dont belive that Ai copied the songs
even though they sound quite awfully the same in some points during the songs but
but then on the other hand....This is so general in pop music
that you could blame and accuse then every single pop artist in the world for copying each others work. Smile

I don't reallt thinks Ai would do such thing. But I must say that some of them sounds alike. But whatever, there are many songs in this world XD Ai is producing herself so I think she would never done it ^^

lmao this is pretty weird,I only found SMILY similar to the song it was compared and the others not so much. Ai's Stawbrry Jam being compared wit L'Arc~en ciel was dunny since they didn't sound alike at all to me..thats prob coz they're way diffe genres like hard rock to ai's j-pop lmao
