I am asking this question out of sheer curiousity. My favourite team is Liverpool F.C. from the Barclay's EPL while my favourite players are Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.

I read in another topic that you play soccer yourself, do you have your own team? I used to play for a team but it is not officially considered a team though, we just play invitation matches with other teams. My position is centre forward.

Well I'm not the best soccer player around in school but I do enjoy playing it. I just play soccer with my friends. I've been in a lot of positions, I think I'm a really good midfielder. I've played at forward and defence before. I play really well in all of those but definitely not goalie. Laughing

I'm a Manchester United fan! I started watching EPL during the late 90s.. So naturally I'm the supporter of the strong team then. Giggle

I didn't see much of Cantona though, I wished I started watching earlier.

Nowadays they have Rooney and Ronaldo, which is quite a handful at times too!

Generally EPL has improved alot I must say, now even the mid-table teams are very challenging to play, not like back in the last decade where it's like a few teams owns everybody.

Sadly but I don't watch much of the other leagues.. Sad Those days I only had EPL on my TV.

I like Inter Milan though! Boogie

I used to support Real Madrid but the team kept on changing and even though they buy all these stars, it didn't seem to get them any results until last season which was almost a fluke. It didn't seem to be a convincing enough win...anyway I've stopped supporting and watching soccer matches...I only enjoy watching those freaks display all their tricks on youtube etc hehe. I think there was this Japanese guy on break.com who did the scariest moves...he must have magnetic feet or something!

Hell yeah! I'm a Liverpool fanatic! Friends say I'm a little obsessed sometimes cause Liverpool always seems to slip from my mouth everyday at school... I also watch every match the reds play, damn I go nuts if I miss one!

Nice to meet you Meitantei L desu, fellow reds supporter! Do you think Liverpool will finally claim the Premier League crown after 17 (nearly 18) long years?

Also favorite players would be:

Stevie Gerrard (defiantly)
Michael Owen (Real Madrid did him no good, now he's stuck with the toons. And Liverpool play Newcastle in a fortnight, arghhhh poor Owen, wrong side!)

oh yeah and .::carlito::., I'm a bombers fan as well, pity this season (and the string of results in the previous seasons) how do you think Matthew Knight will do as coach?

With the amazing scoring ability and pace of Torres and the explosive long range efforts from Gerrard, Liverpool have a decent chance to claim the Barclays English Premier League!

Yep very true. But Liverpool still has work to do. They need a decent winger to provide assists and score goals, since Pennant is out for another 9 weeks... Also they need to get another CB! Hyypia doesn't provide the cover he used to, can't blame him, he is getting old...

Liverpool will sure be true title contenders if we get players in those two positions!

These days I only really bother with international football though.

International football is alright, although it does get in the way of club football, and that annoys me as the players performance for their club will differ. I support England when watching internationals, they need to beat (or draw at least against) Croatia!
