| Boss headphones are great, my friend has one, and the sound is fantastic. It wasn't that expensive for him (considering it was Boss headphones) it was about AU$100 or something. I'll ask him next time. |

My dad recently got me the V-MODA Vibe Earbuds at a good deal, now that I've discovered how much they are for retail. Sixty bucks when they're actually almost ninety dollars!   So far, they work really nicely, and I think the sound-isolating is pretty darn good. However, I'm not well-informed on sound quality, they are NICE.
Yup, just my spiel on earbuds for anyone interested in getting some good ones. |

I have a pair of Audio Technica EC700ti earphones and the design is simply awesome. The sound is also really good, comes out very clear but if you put the volume up too much then it tends to hurt your ears at some ranges. Now, I don't listen to my music at full blast so if you don't either, then this wont serve as a problem at all. It also produces its sound louder than most earphones (I compared to my old pair of Sony MDR-EX51LP and I read in another review the same thing with different earphones). The only major downside is its pricetag of AU$170 (maybe US$150?). I love these earphones and if you like style and sound, 150 bucks to spare and feel like indulging yourself, get these 
@Octocoffee: I was on the verge of buying the same earphones as yours but the store didn't have any demo versions of those so I didn't know whether it'd be any good or not  They also look extremely stylish though hahaha |

So I ended up getting those Skullcandy Hesh headphones for last Christmas. My first pair broke after a month because the wire got caught on the side-mirror of the car and ripped out at the base. So it then took 3 months for me to finally get new ones sent to me which I got yesterday. The new ones have an improved, sturdier looking wire base, and the wire is in 2 parts (kinda hard to explain but...) and it's already been tugged once (I'm kinda a clumsy wire abuser in case you haven't noticed the pattern ) and it disconnected at the midway point. Which I could then easily replug in, and the wire seems to have held up well.
The sound is amazing (the bass is beautiful...) the only problem is the durability of the wire. But that depends if you plan on yanking on it 10 times a day like I do  The updated ones seem to be sturdier though. 
Oh, and they're totally awesome looking too |

Got a pair of ATH-ES7's from Audio Technica, courtesy of a two week trial from Apple The sound quality is crystal clear as expected from them and I reckon they are simply amazing. Design is simply superb as well (I try and find a balance between looks and sound and these really fit the deal). After having my previous EC-700ti earphone cord got caught in my keyboard drawer and damaged, I changed to my brother's Sony MDREX85LPR but it was annoying to eat/talk with them in your ear and it also leaked a lot so that was quite a pain. I plan on returning these to Apple in a couple of days only so I can get another one from Japan which will save me $50 
Oh, as for my EC-700ti's...I'm getting them replaced in Japan since I still have the warranty and there's no signs of mucking around with the cable outside wahaha
Edit: Australian Dollar is so bad now, it's cheaper to buy the damn things in Aus T_T Also, the headphones compressed against my ear really tightly so after about 1.5 hours of listening, I began to experience pain in my right ear. Luckily I could try it out beforehand *phew* I read on head-fi.org that you can bend the metal bars a little to alleviate the compression but I've decided against them now (as well as all other alternatives) and have decided to save the $200 instead |

| I own senheisser cx-300, it has served me well. I'm not really picky about the sound its reproduces also I don't really like using headphones. They seem overly big.. |
