My problem is quite wierd actually, in my opinion.
Well..Ive been downloading for quite a long time but somehow..a week ago, I tried to download, the download started but it stopped after around 5-15 seconds. I thought it was probably just the file's problem so I tried another file. The same thing happened and its been going on until now . And Im missing all the wonderful stuff..like Ai's Pocket PV. So does anyone know what;s wrong.
Thanks in Advance! |

| Does this only happen when you download from Channel-Ai? It sounds like a connection problem (reset, etc.). |

Don't think it's a virus, you can do a scan if you want but it sounds like something's up with your connection.
maybe try using a different browser or looking up the problem on the Windows site (or whatever os you have) |

Where are you downloading from?
If it is from this site, then try a new browser (like has already been mentioned - Go with Firefox ). Otherwise, it could be you physical connection - Internet still works I presume? What is your connection - Dial-up, Router, etc?
However if it is a bittorrent client it could be a NAT error. I think that may require port forwarding

Window's site?
And yes internet still works and I use Firefox . Though my msn is a bit wierd lately..It signs me off suddenly when my internet is still working fine and this happens frequently..
My connection..I think its a router. And no, im not downloading from a bitorrent..its direct.
Thanks in Advance |

tadabelle-paaan, try using a download manager such as DownThemAll for Firefox if this problem persists. It should help with its resume feature.
I'm guessing your computer might have some trojan or virus, try scanning your computer with antivirus and trojan scanner such as AVG Anti-Spyware. |

Nope. I checked in IE. The same problem still occurs there
Sure..maybe Ill take your advice
Thank you!
Edit.::
Somehow the DownThemAll isnt working for me..at least I think so, I try downloading different things from different sites but the same thing happens. A 403 and a 504(?) error comes up. |

Do you mean Firefox
I am not convinced it would be a Virus I'm afraid (well it could be I guess). But as well as doing a full system scan, you might want to asses exactly what you have download since it has stopped working - Although not the only way of getting a virus, if you have been downloading a lot of torrents, etc then it could happen much more often.
So check what you have downloaded - Maybe do several scans using multiple applications on your download directory (if you have one)
Otherwise I would presume it is something to do with your connection - Do you have a bandwidth or download limit? Maybe check that with your provider?
