Hello everybody!!! Long time no see...
I bring news that I'm not sure is good or bad.
I didn't see it here so I decided that I had
to tell you guys here about something that
could have shattered all our hearts.
Ai-chan posted on November 16, 2007 that
she almost got ran over by a taxi. She was
stunned and very upset. Even remembered
the taxi's license before he drove away.
Apparently this taxi driver turned right on
the right of her without slowing down when
she was crossing that crosswalk.
She tried to chase the taxi, but he got away.
Even after this life-threatening incident,
she is determined to catch this taxi.
This is the direct copy of what she said.
If you can't understand, it is basically
what I already said.

タクシーにひかれかけました。
車のナンバーもしっかり憶えています。
青信号を渡っていたら、右から右折してきて、
スピード弱めることなく突っ込んできました。
ありえへん！！！！！
前々から一部の心ない運転手さんのせいで、
タクシーの運転には腹立ってましたが、
あの白髪まじりのおっさん、絶対ゆるさへん！！
と、思い、車蹴ったろうと思って追いかけましたが、
行ってしまいました。
ありえへん！！！！！！！！
次は絶対つかまえます。
So, it is a bad thing that she was in this
tragic incident, but I am glad that she
is doing fine now... |

| Hmmm, that's just one day after Pocket was released too! How...scary. I really don't know how I'll feel if she indeed got involved in an accident. So she didn't get any minor injuries too right? Somehow I'm thinking about the song "Mirai Taxi" now. HAHA |

As I read, Ai-chin angry with The man with some white hair on his head instead of the taxi driver but I have no idea who the man is, a very bad driver that made the taxi be careless or the passenger of the taxi or any one else
I tried to translate this entry, sorry with my bad Japanese and English at all.
It so sudden, but I've been very mad.
It’s so sudden, but I've been very mad.
It started with being suddenly approached by the taxi.
I still remember the car's license accurately.
When the light turned to green, I crossed the road. Suddenly a no-intend-to-slow-down-the-speed-car approached, turned right from my right side.
I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT !!!!! (ARIEHEN!!!!!)
I have never thought that it's the [taxi] driver's wrong since the start.
The driver, too, be angry, but I'll never forgive that grizzled-haired man. !!
Thinking like that and wanting to kick that car, so I tried to chase it but, it had gone away then.
I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT !!!!!!!! (ARIEHEN!!!!!!!!)
Next time, I'll definitely catch it !!!
I confused with some part of the entry. Ai-chin wrote it in Osaka-ben, her native language. I know only little. I apologize for anything wrong.
edit : I'm sorry for lately edit, the meaning is still the same but I change some word. |

Oh, that's very shocking news! So sad that Ai-chin was almost involved in a car accident.  It's good that she avoided it though.  |

I'd translate the "ariehen" to I cant believe it! , since its kansai-ben.
Still, I cant believe that happened!! It's so sudden to hear that Good thing she was able to escape! Hopefully she'll be able to get the taxi driver in trouble, because even though in Mexico, that happens all the time, and people are used to it, its quite different in Japan, since everyone stops for the pedestrians. |

 But how could a taxi driver try and kill Ai-chin!!! He's lucky he didn't hit Ai, otherwise....*plots mad assasination scheme*
Hehe but an angry Ai-chan is actually pretty funny  That's something new to me

Thanks for translating the whole thing jibi_ai!!!
Personally some parts of what she said confused
me too even though I am from Tokyo.
Osaka-ben is Osaka's special dialect, and Ai-chan
(being from Osaka) uses it a lot.
And also, about the man with some white hair, I thought
she was talking about the taxi driver.
Of course, I'm not sure myself...
And as tsukiko already said, it is kind of awkward
to think that Ai-chan does happen to have a song called
Mirai Taxi (Future Taxi).
I hope she will find that taxi and kick it in the near future....

I feel kind of bad for the taxi driver.
I mean, come on!! What if it's honest accident?
I hate when I accidentally do something and trip or hurt someone by accident and I feel bad already and someone just has to rub it in "you hurt them!". It's annoying, isn't it?
Of course maybe he is a bad driver and shouldn't be driving! And of course it's horrible that Ai almost got hurt; anybody getting hurt is bad. |

Hmm but it'll be his fault simply because he's the driver. It's always his responsibility to look out for pedestrians (and traffic lights especially). It does get annoying when an idiot crosses the road when he isn't supposed to though 
Anyway, simply feeling bad for making a mistake in driving isn't going to fix anything...it has a far higher fatality rate than tripping people over... |

it'd be horrible if ai-chin got into car-accident by the end of the year, thanks g-o-s-h. From jibi_ai's translation, the driver had no intention to stop or slow down but to turn right at the intersection, so I think he'd thought with the speed of passing the road of ai-chin it's ok for him to turn right from ai-chin's right side without any problem <-- that's too careless for a driver, what if something come up and pedestrians change their walking speed? feeling sorry after can't help anything. All of sudden I feel angry, it reminds me, I also got hit twice recently, those driver....Anyway, good thing that nothing serious happen^^ |

OMG!!! I can't believe this happened to her. That careless taxi driver should be fired from his job, because he almost ran over our beloved Ai-chan. If he did, I would be hearbrokened and affected by that for the rest of my life. Ai-chan is my most favorite artist of all time. She will always be #1 in my heart. Thank god she wasn't injured, or worse, killed from that incident. She should never stop pursuing to catch that idiot taxi driver, because that idiot taxi driver didn't even stop to check if she was ok, and didn't even apologize. What if he does it again, and ends up completely running over or killing an innocent pedestrian.  |
