Yeah, I saw those pix on the Sims 3 website
It is exciting  I don't know if I'll get it right away though. I've had my Sims 2 families with me for 3 whole years and...I love them 
It makes me sad when the ones I like get old and stuff. Or when the ones I've raised from a baby have their own kids (I have problems...) |

| Wow! The graphics are going to be great, I can tell. Too bad the Sims always eats up my space on the computer... I wonder what else they're going to add to the new Sims? |

WOW! Sims 3's finally coming.
There were some videos about the shadow and lighting improvements to make it even closer to reality... ... Pretty cool. |

Yeah, I've seen some screens and vids for it. The people look a lot more realistic than Sims 2...but like, I download stuff for my Sims 2 from sites so they look more real...Maxis doesn't do very good hair textures and the eyes aren't that great looking either 
I'll probably wait to get this game 'til they at least work out all the bugs, I think  |

I was introduced to the Sims when I found it in some box when I was 10 years old?? I really enjoyed the game until the Grim Reaper came along and you wouldn't know how scared I was, seriously. I also remember making a family and my little brother was playing the game when I was at school. When I got back, I saw my game and 4/6 people died of starvation and there was puddles all around the house!  |

Yeah, Sims 1 was harder I think (that's probably the one you found since it was a while ago, right?)
It was almost impossible to get married and your babies always got taken away  They couldn't cry for 5 seconds without them accusing you of neglect...So you'd have to build a special room with a fridge, toilet, and bed, and lock both parents inside with the baby until it became a child And then it was stuck a child forever and ever
I like Sims 2 way better |

| ^ I agree! Sims was so limited. but Sims 2 was awesome and you can do basically everything with it. I got it as an early christmas present this year! the base game AND the first 8 expansions (I don't really care about the other 2, they seem kinda lame) and 3 stuff packs. It blew my mind |
