Who here have exam right now or coming up in couple of weeks or so ????
I feel so stress and come here to relax
This happens every single year but when it comes it blurs my head. I totally forgot how I did it last year. Right now I'm lost. When I'm in school I think there're a lot of thing I must done; then I get home and cannot find a thing to do. I want to finish all the works at once and end up with nothing done I have 1 more week to complete my work though .... hope to done some works on this weekend
Listen to music help me relax very much any other way ???? |

Taking exams is like gambling, but it's a gambling which you can increase your chance of winning instead of depending solely on your luck. The harder you work, the better your chance. If you wanna let go of the chance to increase your probability of winning the game, so be it, just don't cry over your losses later on. Forget to remind you, the winning prize can be very rewarding.
lol, back to the main topic. If you want to relax, listen to Happy Days! Not Daisukidayo, not Kingyo Hanabi, but songs like SUPERMAN will do. You need songs like that to pump you up don't you? Daisukidayo sort of brings you the sad feeling and you'll start to think you won't do well in the exams, and that's bad.
So here you go, my recommendation is watching the Happy Days PV! My all-time favourite so far. |

Phew, my exams are just over and the next one is in 2months+ time!
My teacher says try to take breaks in between studying time.
^I dun agree!!
Just turn on the music and study at the same time! Its real effective! |

That works too ^^. I listened to the radio though... That can be the problem { i listen to Hitz.Fm and the people there are funny, esp. with the morning crew and when they put on Rick Dees weekly top 40 >< i tend to get distracted that way~ } |

| Exams are too stressful for words indeed. I got a lot of spots on my face for the worry! Luckily my last exam is soon coming =) Listen to orchestral/instrumental music. Very soothing. And try not to lie on bed while studying or you'll fall asleep XD |

I finished my GCSE exams on June 23rd.. thank God for that XD. My results come out on August 25th but I'm on holiday so I'll not get em till a few days after...
Maths = evil - I'm so gonna not get the grades I need for that. Doing intermediate means the highest I can get is a B. After my terrible performance on Paper 2 (the calculator paper of all things!) I'm gonna be lucky if I can get a C...
English = yey! I'm so proud of myself for that exam..which means I probably did bad. Whenever I feel I've done well I haven't and vice versa. I just gotta keep praying though
French was fun, and quite relaxing compared to the other exams.. except maybe RE (Religious Education) since we were forced to take the half course in it and do the 2 and a half hour exam which most people finished in 15 minutes.. that was waay relaxing. caught up on lost sleep in that one XD
Other subjects weren't too bad either.. science was not as evil as I thought it'd be, Media Studies was unusual but pretty easy still, Graphic Products I'm hoping to have aced, History- I'm sure I missed out on a few marks but I don't care since my hand was hurting with too much writing and I couldn't be bothered to ask for more paper.
Other subjects I'd already finished.. like ICT. I'd done the exams and coursework. I think I got an A and a B for my coursework and I got 2 As on my exams so I think that'll be an overall A.. *fingers crossed*
Drama was a performance which was actually really fun, although leading up to it I was so nervous.. I don't think I'll get my predicted mark for the performance but with my A* graded coursework I shouldn't get lower than an A, B at least.
Enough of my rambling XD people on here hardly know me and I'm talking like we're old friends XD
Ignore me. I'm just a newbie |

For exams, it is better to study in blocks rather than straight through. Because while you're off doing other things in between studying, the brain goes over what you just learned without you knowing it! It's also better to study right before bed (not cramming!) because of the brain's habit to review when you're sleeping. And of course good sleeping and diet habits!
And like others said, listening to classical/orchestral etc. music helps you concentrate more while studying. |
