I know that Stormchild has mentioned that they got an e-mail from CDJapan about this new single being released but just so you know, it's up for pre-order.

I'm excited about this new single from Ai but I wonder why the pre-order for this is up and won't be out till end of May while Ayaka's and YUI's next album (which has been said to be released on April 9th) is still not up yet and that's about a month away.
Oh well glad to know this news is official now and no longer a rumor. |

Atashi mo! I'm very excited that Ai-chan is finally coming out with a new single, and it's just 10 days away from my birthday. Yatta! It would be the perfect present for myself. I actually liked "Pocket" a lot. To me, it was a perfect winter song that gives you that warm feeling. I just pre-ordered my CD+DVD copy from CDJapan. I can't wait for this new single.  |

Pocket was nice, but not her best...
I'm hoping for an upbeat song like Happy Days Would be perfect for spring / early summer. |

Ooh...new single. Exciting.  It's most definitely time for something a little more upbeat. And community fun in May sounds fine. We haven't done much around here anyway. I also think another photography contest would be sweet.  |

EDIT : i just read that octocoffee suggested to start a new contest.. i'd love to see a new contest toooo~! but something else then the photographycontest though. i really loved it but i want to do something new now

Yay, definitely will be an upbeat single.
But why is CD only 1200 yen. Seriously Avex are just money whores, not even Ayu or Koda's CD only singles are 1200. If this was a double A-side then that's OK. We need more information!  |

Looking forward to it!  I wonder what Ai-chan's got in store for us!
EDIT: I found this on Ai's Wikipedia page.
Ai's 19th single Ai no Kagaku / STAR (愛の化学; Chemistry of Love) will be released on the 16th of April.
Is this true?  I only thought there was only 17-18 singles of Ai. Correct me if it's wrong. |

well, i think its definitely cos she is doing a nation-wide concert which resulted in a long interval.
winter's over and the next single will be a sping-y one for sure.
i would predict her singles to come out a little faster after her concert ends.
i bet she's prolly gt tons of songs written, all jus waiting to be recorded and released.
i think we can expect a new album in autum!
wells, tts jus my prediction anyway~

My CDJapan email says that to secure first press you need to order before March 14th.  I'm not sure whether to believe it or not, CDJapan always chuck on that message for all releases.
I don't use CDJapan anymore anyway, HMV is so much cheaper. |
