Thankies! Previews are up for the whole single, but I forgot where I saw them... as soon as I remember I'll post them I love Natsukashii Mirai, I think it's wonderful There are rumors floating around that she might have a new single in August as well  Seems a bit too soon though... |

Hmmm well maybe thats the single that has the big tie up in the upcoming John Woo's Red Cliff. She's singing the main theme.
Picture of alan with the cast of Red Cliff (Red Cliff is based off of the popular Book Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
I'm assuming this is the song since this is the preview of Red Cliff

Hmm, her Chinese blog does mention her holding a press conference on June 18 (wow that's not far away) in regards to her officially making her debut in China. I'm kind of confused about this since she's already released an album in China prior to signing on to Avex O.o
But that press conference may confirm her rumored Chinese EP which supposedly contains the them song for Red Cliff.

The EP will have this tracklist:
1. 心・战 (The theme song of Red Cliff)
2. 一个 (The Chinese version of Hitotsu)
3. 三生石，三生路 (The Chinese version of sakura MODERN)
4. 迷失的祝福 (The Chinese version of Tokyo Mimei)
I hope this is all true since I really would like to listen to a Mandarin version of Hitosu and I wouldn't mind hearing the theme to Red Cliff at the same time. But that site also says if this EP were to be released it be June 20 (that's such a short time to announce an EP.
There's also rumors that she will be releasing another Japanese single some time in August that is suppose to sound more POP.
The Japanese HMV site seems to support this rumor, as there's a product for Alan to be released August 13.

This is the description of the single and it talks about Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~ a bit and her first album, but that's about all I can make out.

So essentially, I'm really confused right now. But if this true, it's great news but Alan must be extremely busy.

I like her Hitosu PV more since it seems more but it was nice to see her playing the Erhu (二弦) in this PV. Though the song Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~ is really growing on me right now. |

| Thanks for the info sakuraangel alan does seem to be very busy lately. June 20th seems too short of a time, I read in an entertainment article that supposedly Red Cliff is being pushed to come out in time for the olympics, So possibly the single will come out in time for the film. Aside from that, a 4th single Wow the 3rd one's not out yet. Thanks for the link I'm looking forward to the Pv. I really loved the Hitotsu PV. I thought it was very beautiful |

I liked the Natsukashii Mirai PV, but I felt that it was too long for the material given. For six minutes, they should have added more elements, I think. I think Ashita e no Sanka is my favorite PV so far, although all of them so far have been pretty good.
So...at the AHS alan forum, I finally found those previews for the Natsukashii Mirai Mirai single as well as a preview of "Heart, War", the theme song of Red Cliff.I'm extremely excited to see Red Cliff because Tony Leung Chiu-Wai will be in it, and he's one of my favorite actors ever. He's amazingly talented. So here are the linkies! Enjoy

Thanks for the previews octocoffee So much is going on with alan  This new single Natsukashii Mirai Then there's this new one in August & that's not even the Red Cliff one and top of that I've read on several sites that there's this element thing going on (5 elements Earth, Ether, Wind, Water & Fire. ) and theres suppose to be a single for each! And then Finally her japanese album will come out after these 5 singles. Natsukashii Mirai being earth and August's going to be Ether I'm not sure if there's any truth to this I've been searching high & low for answers  not to mention this debut in China on June 18th ( I think I got the date right ) Anyhow for me everything's just a rumor for now until I see it proved I guess I guess I'm just as confused as you sakuraangel
Anyhow with alan climbing on my favorites list I see myself buying all this stuff I really like her music  |

Five singles before an album? I have a feeling it'll be more like a singles collection than an album...Unless they plan on cutting the B-sides. And I'm guessing they want the album out this year. At this rate, alan will have no free time! I hope that isn't true. The concept is really awesome, but I think they should make those songs and just put them on the album instead of having singles for each.
I feel like avex is getting a little gimmicky with this...
I still don't understand the Chinese debut thing  What about her previous Chinese album? Or was that on a different label? Dude, I think we're all confused |

Yea I've heard of the five element rumor as well. I believe some fans have been saying Hiosu was water and Ashita e no Sanka was fire.
Right now there's just TOO much information about Alan, some confirmed, some not confirmed and it's all mixed so it's a bit hard to digest it all at the moment.
This "gimmick" of AVEX's may work against them ... maybe.
I think I'm just going to wait for official news of what is said on this press conference on June 18th and to see if a Chinese single is released on June 20 (I'm having a hard time believing this because I haven't seen any mention of this on any of the online Chinese music stores or Chinese new sites, granted I could be looking in the wrong places). Nevertheless, such a short time to give exposure/promotion to a single is almost unheard of from an artist that already debuted.
Though thanks to you guys I have heard of "Heart War" and I really like what I've heard. Can't wait to hear the full version. And as I've said before I'd like to hear a Mandarin versions of Hitosu.
I want to see Red Cliff too. Tony Leung is a fantastic actor. I really like how he portrayed his character in Infernal Affairs. I still want to see the other Tony Leung movie that came out not too long ago that Ang Lee directed. |

Avex's gimmicks sometimes backfire & can sometimes work. Regardless I hate gimmicks  Usually costs me too much money ala Koda Kumi 12 singles & 4 hot wave with Marcoc book & then months later another Maroc book that was around $100!
Anyhow I'm waiting for more news on alan <3 Maybe this debut thing (in which she already debuted ) but anyways maybe this debut thing will be a series of things of promotions and performances for the new single in China. I'm looking forward to the Mandarin versions of Hitosu. So I hope that much is true about the new single. |

Gimmicks are silly things. I think it's always 50/50 chance that they work out. I guess the most we can do for now is wait until the true information is confirmed... If they really are doing the elements thing, let's hope it works, for alan's sake >_< -cross fingers-

Tony Leung is definitely amazing in Infernal Affairs. It's an excellent movie. I think the Ang Lee movie is Lust, Caution, right? My mom won't let me see it because it's rated NC-17 over here She's says it's really good though. Have you seen him in The Duke of Mount Deer? He's a great comedian. |
