Alan's PV for 心战 (Xin Zhan - RED CLIFF theme)
I heard that because of her hair style in the PV/MV ... to keep it in tact, Alan couldn't sleep with it so staff had to hold her head so she could rest for a few hours. I forgot who their source was so I don't know if rumor is legit or not.\
I have yet to see RED CLIFF but I'm sure it's making it's way around the bootleg industry or floating around the intranets XD Regardless, I don't have an opinion on it till I see the movie.
I have seen/heard of several promos that she's been doing in China (interviews for TV ect.). There's been a lot of info to digest. I don't have the energy right now to summarize it all. But I'll write about what I remember off the top of my head.
Track List for Sora Uta single:
01. 空唄 (Sora Uta)
02. My Stage
03. 空唄 (Instrumental)
04. My Stage (Instrumental)
The single she'll be release after Sora Uta is set to be release on September 10th with the Wind Element. I heard that the song will be called "Kaze no Tegami" ... Wind Letter(?)
-She's currently working on her second Chinese album
-As I recall some of her TV appearances she's done in China has included other guests on the show like Jackie Chan, Aaron Kwon (one of the 四大天王 in C-Pop) ect. There's one guy whom I know I've seen on either a TVB drama or I've seen him singing (can't tell) but I don't know his name so I'm not sure. |

^Um...is the link supposed to lead to Gravity by Sara Bareilles?
Wow, that'd be crazy if she couldn't sleep just because of her hair. I really want to see Red Cliff, but I doubt I'll see it until it's on DVD...-sigh-
Yes! Second Chinese album! I really liked the first one, her voice is so natural in it. And I saw a picture of her with Jackie Chan on AHS, here it is again:
And I read on Youtube that the composer for Heart, War was Japanese Tarowu Iwashiro and lyricist was from Taiwan, Francis Lee. So is it true? And does anyone know if the composer has done any other songs? Because I love Heart, War's composition |

@octocoffee - Sorry, my bad. That;s what happens when I'm tired and not paying attention to which tab to grab the link from. I fixed it on my previous post.
On and you are right about the composer. I've heard he was the composer behind the OST behind the movie as well. One of my sources:
http://www.netfamily8787.com/index.php?id=3081
I've only heard of the Azumi and Shinobi OSTs and they've turned out well.
The cover photos for her September single "Kaze no Tegami" are out:
CD Only
CD+DVD
I'm happy to see Avex really backing Alan. These cd covers for the elemental have been gorgeous O.O I like this one the most so far. |

^ HOLY CRAP THOSE ARE AMAZING. The colors of the dress-thing are beautiful. Never thought I'd say this but... Thank you avex!
Thanks sakuraangel. I really liked the Shinobi OST so that's awesome. If he was the movie's composer, well, awesome for them! It's sure to be good then. Tony Leung and good music, and extensive budget...I'm hoping for the best! |

oh wow I disappear for a few days and come back with news, bigger covers for Sora Uta (Thanks Heaven) and the covers for Kaze no Tegami (Thanks Sakuraangel)
Those covers are beautiful I'm off to order now. I was going to wait until the other singles were out then order them all together. But I Can't Wait!! She didn't use the whole eyes open/closed theme this time, the covers are regardless gorgeous but I'm just surprised is all
I've been keeping up with all the interviews alan's been doing. I feel sorry for her that she's working so hard not to get enough rest 50hours for the PV for Red Cliff that's too much She's suppose to have 2 albums out by the end of the year. Her Japanese one and Chinese one. I don't doubt Avex will push her to complete this if she hasn't already.
The Pv for Sora Uta is suppose to be out today, I'm looking forward to it. Been waiting all day so far
I was reading that since Red Cliff was being split into 2 movies, & Since alan already did the Xin Zhan ~ theme already, she will also being doing the 2nd theme song for the 2nd movie as well. |

It's nice to see so much news about Alan and see so much new projects (well right now songs and performances) from her but I'm worried she's going to crash. I know this is a crucial time in her music career (now that she's getting recognized and gathering a fan base) and AVEX knows this too to get her name out there to more people and keep the momentum going but honestly I've seen other artists do this and sometimes it doesn't end well. I just hope she gets a reasonable amount of rest whenever she gets the chance and that she'll eventually have a vacation. Lastly, me personally I prefer quality of quantity.
Here's the PV for Sora Uta:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=aZTJVE-L-iw
It kind of cuts off at the end, still trying to find the full version. I'm sure someone will upload it to JPS soon. It's a beautiful PV and I can tell that it required a hefty budget. I'm not sure if I like the song yet. For me its one of those songs that requires a few listens before it grows on me.
I found larger versions for Sora Uta and Kaze no Tegami

^Thanks for the larger pics The covers are simply gorgeous <3
I agree that the song will have to grow on me. I'm also worried about alan's health. With 3 more singles coming out, and a new album in December, alan will surely be busy. I'm hoping that at sometime she will find rest. Because if she's going to be releasing a Chinese album too then that means she will be traveling back and forth to both countries. If she's barely finding rest now during 50 hours + time for shooting a PV I'm worried about the other Pvs she will be in and if she will have time to rest. |

Thanks Sakuraangel
After checking out the full song I dont like the beginning I dont like the chanting I guess, I'd have to say the songs my least favorite The rest of the song is fine it's the beginning, and then the end just kind of drops. I wasn't going to check out My Stage, until I got my single, but I feel I have to now. I need to know how this single will hold up
Edit: I like the b-side better |

^ I agree, I think Sora Uta is probably my least favorite song from her at the moment. But it's still a decent song. I just prefer her previous songs. I wonder what Kaze no Tegami will sound like. If she'll go back to doing a ballad or if the next single will be another up-tempo song.
Hahaha, aww Alan's so cute in this video clip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=482oPKC2TmM&fmt=6
The video is a tad old, over a month for sure. This is the most Japanese I've seen her speak. I'm sure she knows more than when this video was filmed.
Lastly, I had heard rumors that she was going to do a Japanese version of Xin Zhan and at the time I only took it as a grain of salt but I guess it's true. I heard a small preview (it's only 20 seconds long) today. Lemme know if you want to hear it.
Edit: Oh wow I didn't know she made a PV for this (Seed of Green). I'm happy she did, I actually like the song a lot.

Sora Uta's a nice song, and I'm glad alan did an upbeat song. I thought it was well done. No where near the magnificence of previous songs, but quite good And the chanting happens to be my favorite part xD
Thanks for the clips! alan is so adorable. "Momo desu yo~" That's just too cute. And her Japanese is so much better than mine But then again, I've been lazy and haven't really been studying so... And I'll watch the other videos later
I heard the Japanese Xin Zhan preview and I thought it was good, but I'm guessing I'm going to like the Chinese version better, as I said at AHS. |
