^ Thanks. I really like the song, it sounds quite nice. Smile It's definitely not groundbreaking, but it shows she's got the capabilities to be versatile. And I have no idea what to think about the experimentation this early in her career. I mean, I think the light rock sound really fits in with the wind theme for some reason. For now, as long as the songs stick to their theme, that's fine. And I have a feeling alan might become a more popular version of Hitomi Shimatani. I mean, the parallels are all there (the traditional singing education/style, the experimentation, the pretty look)

avex just PHAILS at promotion. Sad

I haven't had time in the last few days for nothing Sad

But I finally got around to listening to the song and the watching the Pv.

I have to say I really like the song Love It's much better than Sora Uta Nod

I read that it was composed by the same ppl that have worked on Ayumi Hamasaki's No way to Say, You, etc Confused So I'm wondering if that's why I love it so much (Being a huge fan of Ayu Embarassed ) I can tell the style is similiar to Ayu's but wont be able to confirm it much til I get my single to see the composer.

I think right now alan's trying to find her own style. She probably doesn't to become just another ballad bringer so she's experimenting. I just wish Avex would do their part and promote her Shifty

Wooo ... Red Cliff cover are out!

CD Only version

CD+DVD version

I'm happy with the CD+DVD version and glad I pre-ordered this one. Though I would say the Kaze no Tegami covers are WAY prettier.

Oh and I also think that her outfit in the new covers kind of look like the kimono she wore in her A-Nation preformance. But with out images, I'm not really sure.

Kagome sounds more rock-ish that Kaze no Tegami but it's a relatively short preview so hard to say at this point and time. Depending on how Kagome sounds in full I may end up liking it more than Kaze no Tegami. Right now I just think that Kagome could have been an A-side.

Thanks for the Covers Love She's back to open/closed eyes Surprised Nice Covers though looks like I've got the Cd version Great now my collection will look strange will all her eyes closed except on Kaze no Tegami Tongue

Want to hear Kagome in full. It seems this single has a style in it's own.

I agree about the Kimono On her blog they had pictures & she was in that Kimono and they were fixing her hair up as well. (I assume the pics were for anation since that is where she was performing) but I notice that on the covers her hair looks fixed up how they were fixing it in those pics So perhaps it is the same Nod

Anyhow Thanks for sharing <3

The Japanese version for Red Cliff's theme is up on YT. I like this version of the PV much much more than the previous one. This one is version goes much more smoothly and the difference scenes (not the clips form the movie but the alan scenes are better placed), This PV is as beautiful as some of the old school Mika Nakashima PVs.

I'm not sure how I feel about them sticking her Tibetan wailing near the end there. It didn't catch me off guard because people had mentioned it before I watched the PV. Right now I feel that it's out of place, but maybe I'll get use it after a few more listens.

Oh yea as a side note ... the Red Cliff movie is available on DVD and Blu-ray disc (HK version) on September 10th. They can be pre-ordered at YA.

I'm not used to the wailing either .The Japanese version is really nice but I'm undecided if it's better than the Chinese version Although I love the PV in general it's so beautiful and fits the song perfectly Love

I received my Kaze no Tegami Boogie I love the single ! It's one of my favorites, possibly my favorite of all. Kagome is really great Nod

I scanned my copy of Kaze no Tegami here

]

If anyone wants scans of any of the other singles just let me know Embarassed But I've only got the Cd Versions

^ Thanks for the scans, I'm still debating about getting this single. I really love the covers for Kaze no Tegami but I'm still undecided about the two songs. They're good, quite good compare to some of the other songs. But I don't adore them like I did her first two singles and her upcoming Red Cliff single. so I can't justify getting this one yet.

Anyways, there's some minor news about the single after the Red Cliff single. As most of you know this will be focusing on the element is water which represents love and peace. It' suppose to be a ballad. Info is according to Neowing/CDJ

Oh yea and the single is already up for pre-order at CDJ O.o

Her last elemental single will be titled "恵みの雨" The romanji is Meguri no Ame and I heard it translates to something like "Blessed Rain"

Can't wait to see pictures of the covers.

Oh yea Alan YT video(s) spam XD

I believe this is pretty recent, Alan is getting better and better with Japanese

I don't know how recent or old this is, but her singing is beautiful here and her Japanese is really good so it can't be that old.

I can't remember if I linked this one before. But this is parts of the Red Cliff performance at the Cannes Festival in France. It's quite an extensive video.

Shiawase no Kane performance at Tokyo Heart Aid Shisen/Sichuan charity concert. I believe this was held at the end of August. Somewhere around Aug 29-31

Hmm, not really double posting, just that this thread hasn't been touched in days and there's new info ... but If it is double posting (ever forum varies), I'll edit my last post.

Covers are up for Meguri no Ame

Track listing:
CD :
01. Megumi no Ame
02. Namida
03. Megumi no Ame (Instrumental)
04. Namida (Instrumental)

DVD:
01. Megumi no Ame (Music Clip)
02. Bonus Movie

http://alan-web.jp/index.html
Alan's official site has also been updated w/ the Red Cliff theme

And I also heard that she shot the PV for Megumi no Ame yesterday. No caps or teasers yet.

The covers are pretty and definitely better than the Red Cliff ones where I think they went a bit hyper over the red filter XD Though I am a bit disappointed as I was hoping for something more amazing like this:

Me too, I think it'll be a nice change to see her with her natural hair color.

Oh my gosh, I just had to post this:
http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzU3MjA0NjQ=.html

Alan playing a bit of the Erhu and singing a traditional song. Sounds like of Enka to me.but I could be wrong.

I wish she'd release something like this or at least throw a song like this in her upcoming album.
