Apparently Infoseek did a special interview with alan on October 30th 2008

Oh wow, she looks incredibly stylish on those pictures where she's dressed in black. Reminds me of BoA in Make a Secret lol. It seems that there are a lot of alan fans on the forum so I think I'll get round to translating it then. I'm a little backlogged atm but, so I guess you could expect it early December (earlier if I feel motivated enough  ). Oh, and as a side note...comments = motivation for writers  (hint hint) |

I have heard she may be releasing another single but I have refused to write about it for some time as I still haven't heard anything concrete.
This may be the rumored song "群青の谷" (Gunjou no Tani) which supposedly translates to Navy Blue Valley.
I don't know if that CM is this "rumored" song. It's anyone's guess really. |

Hmm, okay so once again alan has been SUPER busy .,.. and apparently a lot of new songs will be released early next year. I'm so confused right now and still trying to wrap my brain around what's fact and fiction.
-Gunjou no Tani is a real single (at least since it's not listed on CDJ, I believe it a bit more ... unless she pulls an OLIVIA but I'm doubtful about that).

All I know about this single is that it will be another charity single for the Sichuan earthquake that was written by Cocco (whom alan asked to write a song for her). So it'll be like the Sichuan earthquake. digital singles, except there will be physical copies of this available to be purchased.
Single drops on February 4th, 2009
- I have heard she will be singing a cover song for the Tokyo Disney Resort 25th anniversary album. Not sure which song she will be covering yet since people are still voting for which songs are going on the album. I haven't found any concrete proof of this. - She's suppose to be singing the theme song to Hikon Doumei 非婚同盟 (J-drama) which will air on Tokai TV on January 5th (in the 1300-1400h time slot). However if it is true, a drama tie-in will do wonders in promoting her This is the only article I can find relating to this but it's in Japanese

- Back in May she mentioned in her Chinese blog about working on a song called "I Am Moon" (the Dawa in her last name means "moon" so I guess this is where the concept of the song comes from ...). I don't think she mentioned this in her Japanese blog, so I'm wondering if this will be a Chinese song.
- Then part two of Red Cliff will be coming out next January. alan mentioned before that she would also be singing the theme song to that (knowing the entertainment industry, they ain't going to use the same song twice). It's not a 100% confirmed that she'll be doing the song, but it only make sense since she did the first one.
At this rate, she'll be releasing a 2-disc debut album XD
Anyways, she's suppose to be preforming at the Red Ribbon concert

Holy crap alan's got so much going on! Thank you for posting all of this, it keeps everything nice and organized so I can understand it all. That CM song sounds really pretty. I hope it's Gunjou no Tani.
alan should totally sing "I Won't Say I'm in Love" for Disney! I dunno if it would suit her voice, actually. I just happen to love that song.
And YES to Red Cliff sequel. Xin Zhan is like, one of the most epic songs I have. It needs a continuation~  Plus I'm just excited for the movie...
It'd be kinda sorta fantastically cool if she did a 2-disc debut  Although those never seem to fare well. |

Man I wonder how much time alan spends in the recording studio O.o
Now there's leaks of Chinese versions of Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~ and Namida O.o
I'm iffy about Natsukashii Mirai in Mandarin. Not going to lie, it sounds a bit odd to me. I'm not sure why yet. Though Namida sounds really nice. Can't wait to hear a full version of it. Oh yea I have to go run some errands, but I'll try tp upload them later.
I'm not sure which show this was but it sure shows a lot of behind the scenes stuff with alan. In the second video, you see a bit of her A-Nation '08 performance and she cries afterward. Hmm and she goes back to China to shoot a PV which I believe is Gunjou no Tani, so you hear a bit of a preview to that song in the second clip. You also get to see alan's parents and her dog. Oh my gosh her dog is so CUTE! Her dog reminds me of a dog (which is a toy poodle ... not a toy but the name of the breed?) that my friend has.

First Thanks so much sakuraangel with keeping up with all the alan news There's seems to be so much going on  So many new songs and a new single  I'm going to have to preorder

@ sljinu Oh I always love your translations I always read everything you translate I recently read the Erika one and enjoyed that one very much. I would love if you translated the alan one. Take your time I'll wait forever
I keep forgetting things but Thanks again Sakuraangel for the scans <3 alan looks really good there  I kind of got the Boa vibe too sljinu but regardless she looked good 
On a side note I finally got my Megumi no Ame Single. I was late ordering it. Overall I enjoyed the single greatly. I love both songs. I'm glad I got this single Namida is just as good as Megumi. If anyone wants the single let me know and I'll share it Just been too busy to up it and didn't know if everyone already got it from somewhere else. Also if anyone wants scans just let me know
Oh When is there going to be an album  At this rate the album better be 2 discs because there's already so many singles and I'd hate for the album just to be filled with all A sides with no room for new tracks Because if you ask me there are also some b-tracks that I'd love to be on the album |

^ Haha it'll be out real soon I promise. I started today and it's surprisingly simple (thank goodness there are artists who just tell you straight off what is relevant in an easily understandable manner....*cough* Utada Hikaru *cough*). I'll try and finish what I can tonight and I'll have it checked tomorrow...you could expect it tomorrow night even (that's EST but hahahha).
There is one thing I'd like to clarify however. alan's first single was Ashita e no Sanka, not Natsukashii Mirai. Additionally, Ashita e no Sanka was about the environment, right? I just want to make sure this information is correct since in the infoseek interview, it looks like alan says that Natsukashii Mirai was her first single with the environment as its theme. I'm thinking I misunderstood it as her first single (it doesn't specifically state it is her first single) but it does explicitly say that its theme is the environment. Any help at all would be appreciated! |

I appreciate you're hard work on this translation But I would of waited forever
anyhow back on subject.
Ashita e no Sanka is her first single, But I think what alan means by Natsukashii Mirai being her first single is that it's the First of the element themed singles. (There's five total) Natsukashii Mirai being earth and it did have to do with the enviroment. So that's not a mistake. I know I read it somewhere Anyhow that's all I can think of |
