Eyn, can u please open a thread where user's can post lyrics of Ai's Songs? The Translation section is fine, but I would prefer a place where all lyrics are posted, so you can sing allong with Ai ^____^

It's a great idea nukaru, I've always wanted to expand the Ai's section a little more. I might add such a forum soon but I would like it to be highly organized, such as setting up a format for lyric postings, or having members to PM me before they post their complete lyrics.
I'm looking for lyrics with Japanese, romaji, and then translation. Only lyrics with all of the requirement will be posted. (translation might be optional)
And I hope the lyrics posted is done by our members, ie. you don't copy and paste lyrics done by other people. If we want to have our own lyrics section, we should do it ourselves!  |

| Yeah pretty good idea indeed. And yes I agree that they should be reviewed before posted so to avoid people making mistakes ^^ so yeah..why not? |

you could make one Thread for romanji, one for Kanji and one for translations oO; so every member will find what they are searching for ^^
just an idea ^^; |

What I have in my mind is having one thread for each song, then the first post will be the one with Japanese lyrics, romaji, optional translation and no other messages. Users can reply with their thoughts about the lyrics and those useless thank you posting (like a simple "thank you") will be deleted.  |

| but couldn't someone who has the song and the booklet with the lyrics just retype them? what do you mean by having other people do it? |

I don't really get your question. What I mean is I don't want you go to some website, copy the translation or romaji someone posted, and paste it in the lyrics thread as if they are your own work. Usually those website would ask for credits if you used their materials, so why not make one ourselves if we are going to start such a thread.
It's kinda pointless to copy and paste stuff done by other people. That's what I mean. |

so one member posts the kanji, romanji and translation, right? ^^;
correct me, if I'm wrong ^^;;;
Nya... the copy and paste thing...
I think the romanji lyrics can be copied, but the translation should be done by ourself, cause copy and paste translation's stealing >____<

Translation thread is for translation, and it's not like we have all the lyrics translated so far, it takes a long time to get all of them done, if ever. The lyrics thread suggested here can be implemented as a lyrics resources for members, mainly to get romaji and japanese lyrics (translation can be added upon finished project in translation forum). Translation will be cool, but as I said it's pointless to copy other people's materials.
So, who has the lyrics of Ai in Japanese and romaji ready to be posted. Gimme a PM and once I get enough of them, I'll open the new forum so you can start posting.  |
