I heard very often in the Forum, that Ai is the favourite Singer of someone. Next, I want to ask, why Ai is your favourite Singer, why do you like her so much? Very simple question, but I hope for a good conversation  ! |

Of course Ai is the favorite singer of a lot of people on this forum =p. She's my favorite singer because she's has a lot of traits I like. She is very cute, she doesn't emphasize "sexy" like a lot of american singers, she can pull off both the cute AND the emotional voice, her personality is extremely adorable (especially that damn giggle), and she has quite a sense of humor!

I love her simply because most of her songs are nice to listen to. She is extremely cute and her character is also charming.

Oh, Ai-chin is my favourite Singer because for me she is a very naturally singer. She isn't so artficial like the american vip's. And her songs has a mysterious power, that make my happy and make my strong in the bitter times of life - thats the magical world of Ai Otsuka  ! |

Yea, I fully agree with you. She sings really well on stage, not like some other singers who fake their voice with some device in studio. I'm not saying that every other singers are like that.
Btw, what do you mean with american vip? |

With american vip I mean stars from the unitated states or america, because in my homeland germany everyone listen to these bad music, what make me sick  .... IÄm sorry if you like these music, but in my opinion it's... garbage ... |

do you mean vip is very important person? oh well it shouldn't matter anyway, just out of curiosity.
Okay no offense taken as I'm that big fan of western music, except avril lavigne. I usually listen what i think is nice. However it's true i don't like how they, most USA singers, feature sex appeal, be it in videos or concerts, to attract people. I don't really follow western music lately. since I'm at the moment hooked with Ai's musics. Yay Ai otsuka FTW.  I wouldn't say they're garbage, well not all of them to say the least.  |

She is cute and has a unique voice.Often her cuteness just make me feel even more to like her. Also she is very focus and put in her emotions in any live performances.Most importantly,she is natural for example in terms of performances such in concert,she do not wear those costumes that are kind of exaggerating(sorry...cant think of that word  )In other words she always present her most natural side to her fans.Don't u guys think so?? I think u guys get wad i meant rite? |

Ai-chan is my favorite because for me there is no artist out there like her. She's so original and creative. Her music is unique. From the depth of the lyrics to the composition of the song. I love deciphering the meanings in her songs. Everything is poetic. And with each new release she continues to amaze me.
I love her sense of style, There's just this aura of her. I love her image and how she portrays herself. When I see her, I see a strong person but also a very fragile one. Some ppl you can look at and sometimes there image is so built up it's hard to believe that their human inside lol but with Ai she's so down to earth, she's just soooo sweet. |

It's hard to say that I have a favourite artists. What I'm into just changes so much, but there is definitely a group of half a dozen artists that like to shuffle around at the top. It's an on-going battle to be the king of the hill and Ai is definitely a contender.
Ai's one of my favourite because she just works for me on so many different levels. When I sleep, I can't sleep to songs that have lyrics that I understand because I start singing along so I'm limited to instrumentals and music from other languages. Ai fits in very nicely here. Also, my taste in song is greatly effected by the weather and the seasons. For example, I can only listen to The Boy Least Likely To in spring and summer and City and Colour only in Winter. It's very strange. Thankfully, I can easily play her ballad's in winter and her more upbeat stuff during summer. I can listen to her all year long, so that gives her another edge. Lastly, I have a huge crush on her.  |

| Please don't become upset! Otsuka is not my favorite singer but I like her very very much, and my specific reasons: she is only Japanese singer I have attended her live concert and I am infected by Otsuka's spirit and energy in performance! also she is pianist and song writer, extremely creative person in so many ways! including video producer and graphic artist! astonishing creativity! |
