...what's the karaoke contest? I saw it in the announcement forums and was really confused as to what it was. could someone please tell me? thanks!  |

Hey now you talk bout it... it a karaoke contest where people sing and record at some device then upload it to let other download and vote wether its best... it's cool` lot of event and history in channel-ai we don't know... such as there's another channel-ai called mint forrest and last time there an outing for channel-ai members?!
at 2006 and 2007 was held once respectively but this 2008 few more weeks it be 2009... the contest seems stoped... T_T sad |

Karaoke contest is simply covering the Ai Otsuka songs and the best one wins out of a poll! I've been absent from this forum for almost a year so I really don't know if there will be one this year or ongoing. But you should definitely expect it in 2009.

^ LVXS won, with a guitar version of Haneari Tamago (entry 9). You can listen to all the contestant's song here.

Actually, mint forest is not related to channel-ai at all. mint forest is another Otsuka Ai English forum that was started before eyn created channel-ai.
In regards to outings, I know at least 2 happened successfully. One was in Toronto, and one in Vancouver. There were talks about one in Singapore, but I'm not sure if that actually happened.
As far as I'm aware, there are no plans for any contest at the moment... But, the forum has a suggestion and you are all more than welcome to suggest things that you'll like to see on the forum or ideas for contests! |

Really~ toronto and vancouver too?!....
The other in singapore did happened, an old member here tell me. He did join.
Oh dear, the prize so cool~ CD+DVD?! but one of the contestent was disqualified?! what happened back there? sad.... but most of the vote seems goes to entry 9..haha~ powerpack
