Greetings to all Otsuka Ai fans,
I'm Jan and live in Hong Kong. The first time I heard Ai-Chan's song at the time LOVE PiECE released. I love Otsuka Ai instantly and can't stop collecting all her singles and albums. Now, I have the complete collection of all her songs (in terms of ordinary versions) and all of them have been complied to MP3 and stored in my moble. Besides, I have been collecting her photos, lyrics and videos, they are now occupying my NAS more than 300G space. Also because of her, I started to learn Japanese.
I have joined Ai's Hong Kong Chinese forum loveaiotsuka.com for more than a year. Sadly, the forum is now under revamping and server upgrading this week. Though I have been reading this forum for similar length of time, I haven't joined Channel-Ai until today. Quite a bit because my mother tongue is not English, but also because one of the rules of the forum "your membership may be voided if no post is submitted within a month" something like that deferred me from registering.
Today, I found the new PV 360º of Ai-Chan from Dailymotion, where the prior Youtube link has been removed (as usual). This is a very initiative I decided to join Channel-Ai and share this info to all you guys. Nice to meet you all!
I found that those members right here from Hong Kong, (perhaps our) English is rather disappointing, but please forgive us, we are Chinese, most of time we are not speaking English. Well, I can say confidently that news from Hong Kong Ai's forum are often more speedy than from Channel-Ai. However, I am extremely glad that this forum is very organised and most members their contents and replies have frequently excited me by their meaningful, thoughtful and logical words and materials.
Edit:
I have been feeling guilty and being so rude to have said that "news from HK Ai's forum are often more speedy than from Channel-Ai". Actually, after being a member here for a few months, I found that in most respects, this forum is exceedingly wonderful, I love this forum very very much. I regret to joint Channel-Ai too late. |

hi Jan. welcome to Channel-Ai! we are glad you decided to join the community here. first, let me tell you your English is excellent. in fact it is amazingly good for a second language. my asian language skills are virtually non-existent so i rely on the abilities of others here.
i think is is good that you are a member of loveaiotsuka.com as well. you can share news from both sites. i am sure members in both forums want to find out about new things as soon as possible.
you mention the thoughtful comments here. we look forward to reading yours as well. |

Hi, Nice to know you and welcome.
Really!? that's good. additional is...I'm not sure if this also apply to japan artist. But as usual from my reading of magazine or TV report, Taiwan or Hong kong artist news always reported from HongKong paparazi or reporter first. This could mean any recent informations will also easly found/retrive from local magazines or newspaper. This could be such a great help if you share with us from both sources.

300G !?. ok that be really helpful if there's any fun clips/performance that can share especially those have been removed or expired in this forum.. (Sorry, this is for self gain ) and I also start learning Japanese thanks to ai-chan~
Far from that, shirt and item that show slightly of japan feeling are bought by me for no reason they just so cool.
Again, Welcome. |

Welcome to Channel-Ai azurejan!
I definitely like your detailed intro and you must be such a dedicated fan to use up 300gb all full of Ai-chan on your storage. You'll definitely fit in here where there's other Ai fans with the same amount of dedication and friendliness. Take care and enjoy buddy!
By the way, you're English is spot on. There's no need to worry about it as there are people who are just the same with struggling with English. Always ask for support when needed. |

Today, I got a news that excite.co.jp has made an interview with Ai-chan. As those previous interviews, the site launched many nice photos of Ai.
http://ent2.excite.co.jp/music/interview/2008/aiotsuka/index.html
however, I have some questions of uploading photos,
1) how can I upload photos to the photo gallary?
2) how can i made thumbnail pics?
3) how can i link them into my repies?
also, if I want to share videos, how can I made "media player classic" screenshots with Channel-Ai's logo?
if all these questions are faq, can another give me the topic link?
Thanks a lot!! |

1) Simple! Just go to the gallery, login into your account and upload away!
2 & 3) Go to www.imageshack.us/ and follow the instructions as you go by.
About your last question, I really can't help you with that, sorry. |

The Hong Kong Ai's forum LoveAiOtsuka.com had been suspended for more than a month due to total server crash, but it has just re-opened for few days. I feel exceptional glad that I was invited to be a managing staff of Lyrics Section and Songs' Discussion Section. Everything is starting from the beginning because all data out there couldn't be retrieved from the old server. However, this is a good chance to revamp and improve the structure of that forum.
I found that many rules, formats, structures, arrangement and organization have been nicely designed in Channel-Ai, Upon the permission from that forum moderator and staffs, we have incorporated some of these commendable characters from Channel-Ai's into LoveAiOtsuka.com.
Although I am still a newbie in Channel-Ai, I hope I can become one of the channels for communicating and linking up the two forums, and I will continue to contribute in both forums.
Thanks |
