Translation:

Edit: Sorry guys, I found that I completely misunderstood the entire song (I NOW see why that 'doll' is actually used as a metaphor) and almost let it all slide. So everyone say thanks to Rodri for provoking me into having it checked 
One thing to note: The importance of the term 'city' stems from the fact that it's an every-man-for-himself scenario there, as opposed to smaller country towns where people usually work together. |

| Haha, from what I understood it as, I think there was a bit of a suicide theme to it too. Ai's lyrics have been dealing with a lot more mature themes these days....I quite like the change |

I just listented to this song and I love it sooo much!!!
I just don't understand something....what does the lines: "I would have become a man for you" mean? xD....Why is she saying become a MAN?..She's using atashi...and if she was singing from a man's point of view she would be using Boku....right??
Or it reffers to become human? |

^ Hehe I fixed the lyrics now. When I first translated it, I had the mindset that it was about a doll and so I warped the translation to fit that theme. What I had in mind was that the doll would've become the girl's husband so she could become a mother. Well, after another look at it, turns out I was WAY off the mark and that was pretty sloppy of me >_< Anyhow, it should make a lot more sense now
But man, so many people already read the previous translation...and it wasn't just one mistake, it was an entire mistake!! Argh I'm so sorry guys!!! Please don't kill me! |
