The PV for kite is out!
Bonnie sure likes to get wet for her PVs ... and the slow hair thing reminds me of Chiyaki Kuriyama first PV LOL |

| Ahhh. They removed it already. I haven't even heard the song yet, but it should be arriving anytime. |

I have "Dear Diary" and am listening right now!
It's all very catchy at only the first listen, but I expected no less from Bonnie
On the third song.. Cookie Flavor, so I still have twelve more to go.
I can't wait to watch the DVD on the way home tonight. |

I have to say that "Dear Diary" disappointed me. It's not bad, but kinda fell flat for me when compared to "One" and "Thinking Out Loud" (Which are still my favorite albums by her ). I like "Is This Love?", "Suki KILLER", "Birthday Girl" ("Catch The Sun Vol.2" ) and "Nami Nami" though. |

I have not gotten all the way through it, but at first listen, I would agree with you about her other recent CDs having a bigger impact (I would go back as far as "Even So" and "Golden Tears." I am thinking that the more I listen, the more I'll like it, though. I have not even gotten to the B-sides, yet.
I am listening to Nami Nami for the first time now, and I really like this song.
I saw the first 25% of the DVD. I certainly enjoyed her live performance, but I her style is so low key, especially when compared to Ai-chin, that it doesn't seem to have the power to recharge my batteries.
I am still happy to have it and I am sure I'll listen the heck out of it |

Okay.. I have listened the heck out of it now, and I REALLY like it A LOT!
I won't say it surpasses "One" but I can rank it in the top 3, for sure, and the more I hear it, the more I like it.
I also have a better appreciation for her Live performance which is playing now. At first, I was thinking that he Western influences made the performance a bit bland. It is kind of more reserved and I noticed with Utada's performances, too, but it creates its own kind of energy. Not the emotional rollercoaster (only good emotions, though) that I find comes with each of Ai-chin's live performances, but very fun to watch.
Keep it up BONNIE PINK! |
