i'm sooo happy about these news! Boogie
a new album... i wasn't sure if i dared to hope for one this year, but then again it's her 15th year in the business, and i was expecting something bigger than digital singles would happen... well, she said something would, so yeah. Laughing

and yes, i agree, the digital singles have been awesome, and i hope the album is in the same style. Smile

I thought I had tagged this thread for responses, but I apparently did not. Thank you all for the helpful recommendations. I was surprised to see that Golden Tears was available on i-Tunes. I now have Even So, Golden Tears, Thinking Out Loud, One, and Every Single Days. I will add her new one as soon as it is out.

I have been listening to Bonnie Pink like crazy for the past several weeks. I keep adding new (to me anyway) songs so it is practically never ending. She is just so easy to listen to... Nod

^ woot! 15 songs, that is awesome. Giggle
and guess what more? the Limited Edition comes with a B-side collection! it's called "BONNIE PINK B-side collection(1996~2009)", which unfortunately doesn't contain all her B-sides, but most of them.
here's the tracklist:

-BONNIE PINK B-side Collection(1996-2009)-
1 泡になった (Awa ni Natta) - from "Surprise!"
2 Bubble Gum - from "Thinking of You"
3 Friends, Aren't We? - from "Do You Crash?"
4 One Night With Chocolate - from "Do You Crash?"
5 Passion Fruit - from "Take Me in"
6 かなわないこと (Kanawanai Koto) - from "Do You Crash?"
7 Let's Kiss And Make Up - from "Heaven's Kitchen" single
8 What about me? - from "Take Me in"
9 The Last Thing I Can Do - from "Forget Me Not"
10 That's what it's all about - from "Thinking of You"
11 You and I - from "Joy / Happy Ending"
12 New York - from "You Are Blue, So Am I"
13 Pump It Up! - from "Kane wo Narashite"
14 Free - from "A Perfect Sky"
15 good-bye - from "Inu to Tsuki"

from what i can see it's missing these:
We Gotta Find a Way Back to Love - from "Surprise!" (i think this is a cover)
Touch Me / All Night Long - from "Private Laughter"
I'm in the Mood for Dancing - from "Last Kiss" (one of my favourites!)
Interlude -siesta- - from "A Perfect Sky" (this is not much of a song anyway...)
Magical Mystery Tour - from "Water Me" (this is definitely a cover...)
...and various remixes of songs, which doesn't really count.

and if you thought that was enough, nuh-uh! Giggle
not only does she include a B-side collection, which is a huge extra, she includes a DVD with 15 songs from the final concert of the ONE Tour from last year. Boogie

-BONNIE PINK LIVE TOUR 2009 "ONE" final at AKASAKA BLITZ (2009.7.31)-
1 Rock You Till the Dawn
2 フューシャ フューシャ フューシャ (Fewsha Fewsha Fewsha)
3 妄想LOVER (Mousou Lover)
4 Princess Incognito
5 Won't Let You Go
6 One Last Time
7 Try Me Out
8 PLAY&PAUSE
9 秘密 (Himitsu)
10 Joy
11 Get on the Bus
12 鐘を鳴らして (Kane wo Narashite)
13 Happy Ending
14 かなわないこと (Kanawanai Koto)
15 Last Kiss

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Giggle
isn't that an awesome way to celebrate 15 years in the business? well, it's too bad for those not getting the limited edition, but still....
i think i better get this thing before it's too late. YesAsia's 44.49 USD is quite a lot of money for one album, but if you get all of this for it, it's more okay (damn you HMV and CDJapan for your crazy high shipping costs).

other than that, i was on a buying spree for Bonnie's albums while i was in Japan. Boogie
i got Blue Jam, Heaven's Kitchen, evil and flowers, Let Go, Just a Girl, Present, re*PINK, Even So, Golden Tears and CHAIN. i have Thinking Out Loud since before, so i'm only missing Daisy (since the songs on that one isn't on the B-side compilation), Reminiscence and ONE. i can live without the compilation albums since i got almost all the albums. Smile

oh, btw, love the cover for Kite. Smile can't wait for the covers for the album. i like the title Dear Diary too.

edit: ahahahaha!
okay, so i just now figured out that there's...
15 songs on the album,
15 songs on the b-side compilation,
15 songs on the concert DVD...
might have something to do with her 15 years as an artist. Tongue

edit again: ORDERED! ^^
i got f(x)'s NU ABO while i was at it too.

Damn. I want the limited edition so bad. On the other hand I already spent way too much money on Ai's single, Taeyang's album, Jolin's album and SHINee's album. ):

I've been waiting for this album for a while now. I heard the news earlier in the week but forgot to post it.

Includes the songs "Morning Glory," "Is This Live?" and more for 15 songs total. Beautiful cover. I think the key-font doesn't look good at all, but it's a neat cover overall. Smile

hey guys!
anyone know where to get hold of the whole thing of this?
YouTube: Internet Live at GULA STUDION,Sweden Digest

i saw that the limited edition of Thinking Out Loud had all three songs (A Perfect Sky, Water Me, Gimme A Beat) from this live in the DVD, but not sure if the talk and stuff before and after and inbetween is in there. just want the whole thing in one file if anyone knows where to find it...

i've actually been to this studio, even though i only saw the outside...

oh, and one minute into the clip she greets the people in the mixing room in swedish, that really cracked me up! XD i wanna hear her speak more swedish!

sorry for the double post, but Bonnie's apparently making a short movie as part of her 15th anniversary. Smile

Tokyo Hive - BONNIE PINK makes a short movie
Quote:
In celebration of singer-songwriter BONNIE PINK’s (37) 15th anniversary in entertainment, she’ll be making a short movie called “Furarera”. She’ll be teaming up with five famous video editors (Takeuchi Tetsuro, Shindo Mitsuo, Mori Ryoichi, Yanai Michiko, and Kakimoto Kensaku) to make her project possible. Each director handles one segment of the short movie, which is divided in five and lasts around 15-20 minutes.

The movie will revolve around a woman played by Sato Eriko (28), and it’s about her character showing her life experiences in five different ages – when she was 19, 23, 28, 30, and 40. It has been said that BONNIE PINK and Sato have always been good friends ever since the day they went drinking together two years ago, so it was natural that they would collaborate eventually if the opportunity presented itself. Other cast members for the movie include Tsurumi Shingo (45) and Bananaman’s Himura Yuki (38).

Of course, the movie will also use BONNIE PINK’s music, and her upcoming single “Kite” (released on 09.22) will be used as the theme song of the movie. “Kite” will also appear on the singer’s upcoming album, “Dear Diary”, which is set to be released on October 6. Other carefully picked song such as “A Perfect Sky” will be inserted in the film as well.

You can watch “Furarera” through a special website for a limited time starting October 6. I’ll make an update here when the website becomes available.

Thanks for all the info Mango!

Yes, Bonnie seems attracted to Sweden per her recent work. I was just watching the DVD that came with Thinking Out Loud yesterday , in fact.

I've not been on line here much lately and nearly forgot about preordering this. Seeing the set list and extra things today, I rushed to Kinokuniya Book store and oredered it. Boogie

Now I can not wait till the 6th. Actually, I missread a post by Sakura and thought that the album was out 9/22. I had thought October before, but this is what what me moving (thinking that a copy might aleady be on the shelf).

Anyway, I am glad I was able to get the preorder for the limited addition or I would have been miserable forever Nod

I listened to her new single "Kite" yesterday. Smile Both songs on it are high quality tracks and I have to say that I really like the single in general. The beginning of "Kite" reminds me of Owl City's "Fireflies" though. Laughing To be honest, I thought the B-Side was much better than the actual A-Side. In fact, "Busy-Busy-Bee" is one of her best B-Sides ever. The chorus is just too catchy. Love

^ You should. Smile "Busy-Busy-Bee" is similar to the stuff on the "ONE" Album.

*giggles* I agree Crystallas, the beginning of Kite does sound a LOT like the start of Owl CIty's Fireflies.

Hmm Busy-Busy-Bee kind of reminds me of her So Wonderful song. Don't get me wrong, they are quite different from one another but I think it reminds me of that song because this song also has that happy+retro vibe to it.

I cannot wait for the album now. Even more so than before when I first heard about it.
