Hey there !
I'm Lucs from Switzerland. I'm a huge fan of Guns N' Roses and X JAPAN.
I started to listen to japanese music thanks to those bands. GN'R played some X JAPAN stuff at a show, which got me to X JAPAN, which got me to japanese music.
I got stuck in X JAPAN for a few months, then I started to listen to other stuffs. Recently (like about 2 months ago) I started to listen to more Ai's stuff. I only knew Ponpon before (which is a totally crazy and amazing song  ).
I watched some of her shows, and it really seems great. Even though it's REALLY not the kind of music I use to listen to, I find Ai's music really great. It just makes you wanna smile.
I'm going to japan this summer and I'm REALLY REALLY hoping that Ai will be on tour when I'm there (maybe for her anniversary concert).
A little about me (not too much), I'm webmaster of the only and biggest Guns N' Roses french website, GNRFrance.net . I'm a computer engineer, 25 yo and married for 5 years soon.

welcome to the forum, Lucs!  that's so cool that you got into Japanese music 'cause of that. well, hopefully you can find others you can connect with (which isn't a hard job here, anyway) and post post post ! |

(May I recomend L'arc-en-Ciel?...It's a great japanese band  )

I know, I saw them live in Paris next year !
I didn't know the band much, but wow, they are really great live !!!
Can't wait to see the DVD, some cameraman wouldn't stop filming my wife and my sister lol !!!

Maybe I'll try the a-nation 09 concert in Osaka on 30th August... but I really have NO idea how to take tickets and stuffs o_O |
