向日葵
himawari
Aprilis. is right, it means "Sunflower".

片想いダイヤル
kataomoi daiyaru
"Kataomoi" means unrequited love, so I'm assuming that it's "Unrequited Love Dial"? Or "Unrequited Dial"?

扇子
Sensu
"Folding Fan".

ポンポン
Ponpon
spirus and Aprilis. got this one.

thank you so much Smile

just this one left: 本マグロ中トロ三○○円 (緑色)
babelfish translates it as 'トロ 300 Yen in this tuna (green color)', which i guess is incorrect ('green' is correct i think..)

I forgot about this one: ふたつ星記念日 (futatsu-boshi kinenbi)
anyone know its meaning?

I was thinking about how I should go about this, seeing there are several different authors, and several different posts I didn't want to post this individually in each thread. Anyway these translations are great (and sound a lot better than my half wit translations) and I would like to know if I could use them on a site I'm creating. You see I’m trying to organize all of the Ai lyrics together on one site. I promise I would give Channel-Ai and the translator full and absolute credit with a link to the translation on the forum. So please let me know if I can use them. I would really truly appreciate this and it would be a great help!

I'm looking for translator that can spend some of his/her time translating Ai's entry in her diary (she just updated on 10/26). Me myself, I still have to translate all of her Taiwan official news and I'm kinda busy so it's less a priority for me. Anyway, I hope someone's willing to translate her diary entry, preferably starting from the newest one because we're more concerned with her latest situation, aren't we? Smile

I know it's likely that nobody will take the job, but whatever at least you guys know we do need someone who can do that. Tongue

---

koolcblue783, you should ask each translator for their permission, afterall those lyrics are not my own work. Tongue I hope you do well on your new site! Nod

I've been working on it, actually. I'll do her most recent one tonight, I guess. I've been doing it past to present though.

My request is.... The translation for Ai Otsuka's PONPON song!

I'll have a go at it. Exams almost over; only about three weeks to go. I have finished some subjects though, so I have some free time. When I'm not studying, I'll try to listen to it and write it out. The first line is 毎日あなたとポンポンポンポンポンポンポンポン (Everyday, with you...ponponponponponponponpon) Tongue Anyway, I should be able to get it translated in the next few days. Smile

Thanks for requesting; it gives me a goal Boogie

Didn't spirus try to translate this song before? Check out this topic and read his reply.

btw, enlightened0ne, it will be great if you can translate some of Ai's interview which she talks about her music and inspiration. Here, take a look at this list, each link points you to an article about her.

Okay, I'll try to get to work on one of those interviews. Has anyone translated any of them yet? Does anyone want any particular one translated first, or should I just go down the list Confused

enlightened0ne: You asked before what my site's address was... I don't have an address yet Surprised Right now I'm just getting lyrics together, I almost have all of them. Some I couldn't find and had to translate on my own (I'm not that good at translating) But I'll be sure to put up a link to the site as soon as it's up! Boogie
