I'm so sorry if there is a game which is similar to this one or already there Shifty ...

Explanation:
1. One Person choose a song, for example Koda Kumi - "Ai no Uta"
2. The next person rates the song while writing a little text about it, for example "I like the song so much! Her voices are so good and I bla bla bla bla"
3. After that, the person which writes the assessment choose another song, for example "XYZ - ABC"
4. The next person rates the song too, and so on ^^

If you don't know the song, watch the video or listen to the song on youtube or download it. A "I don't know the song, I pick a another one" doesn't count Sneeze ...

It's a bit similar to the "Ai Otsuka vs Ai Otsuka" Game, but you CAN'T choose a song from Ai. Everyone who choose a song from Ai will die Mad Wink !

Well, lets go:

I start with Ayumi Hamasaki - Step you

4,5 / 5 too Laughing

It's a funny and cute song and I love the refrain (Fighting Boy, Fighting Girl Love). But it's not as good as the other A-Side "Kyuukon ~YarukiˇGenkiˇSono Ki no Nekko~...

Perfume - Perfect Star, Perfect Style

Good game, but now I'm going to have to think! No
I'll give Perfume a 3.5/5, that comment you said about cute is good for this and most of their songs, this one is more J-Poppish than their others, it got docked .5 becuase of it, still a good, solid song though, I like watching the live version. Smile
Some J-Rock
Nanase Aikawa- Sweet Emotion

Well, sorry for disappointing you, but I don't like the song. The song rocks definitely, but I don't like the melody at all. Now I heard the song 3 times because I thought I would like him more, but he won't stuck in my Head... But actually, I never really liked Nanase, though "Owarinai Yume" was ok.

1.5 / 5

Next Song:
Chihiro Onitsuka - Infection (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As-UM7yBHAM)

Wow, we've had a sudden spike in the amount of rating games lol. Anyway...

The song actually sounds pretty nice. I didn't find Hyde's voice particularly suitable for the song at first but I think with time, it would grow on me. I give it a 4/5 as I can see myself liking this song.

Remioromen - Yume no Tsubomi

And just a few other things: first of all, can we include songs that aren't J-pop or should we try and keep it to that instead so that at least anyone who plays can somehow relate to it and be interested? Also, I think this thread would've been more appropriate in the Asian Music section Tongue Oh well Smile

Omg, I love Stereo Pony and can't wait wait for their album. Though "Hitohira no Hanabira" is my favorite Song from them, I really love "I do it" and I love it more and more Love . Definitely 5/5 !

Next Song is Hangry and Angry - Angelia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLTa28MJGT0)

@sljinu: I think we should stay in the asian sector. So, you can choose anything which is asian (J-Pop/Rock, C-Pop/Rock, K-Pop/Rock", etc.)

not really into this genre, but it's a very good song nonetheless. nice instrumentation and replay value..but their voices are a little on the generic side. 4/5

This song is wonderful. Her voices are live so great and I really love the melody, it stucks already in my Head - I think you're right, it's their best ballad up to date Love !

5 / 5

Next Song: Kaela Kimura - Banzai (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlH-lbnoQSI) Love

The song is super poppy and electro, it's cute. However, there's nothing about the song that's really standout or would make me listen to it often. She has a nice voice though Smile

3.5/5

Next song: Koe by Tsukiko Amano

I'd give it about 3.2/5, Wink I had heard of her but had not heard any of her songs. After the first minute I was ready to rate it a 1, Sad but it got so much better where it turned into a nice rocking song. She also has a good voice, on another good note the song served it's purpose as now I'll check out more songs from her. Nod

One of my fave J-Rock/Pop songers Hitomi Yaida, B'coz I love you. Neko ni Fuusen

I love Aqua Timez and every song of them, this song is nice too Smile . i like is voice and the rockish touch, but sometimes it seems that the song is a bit toneless...? I don't know how to put it in words Smile.
But basicly the song is totally okay: 4/5

Next Song: misono - VS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY8PIN35sw0)
