Soooooo is it worth it to buy the blu-ray or rather go for the first press dvd version?
Edit: I've watched it for a bit but decided to not order it because the rain is really depressing You also hear the rain all the time. Mirai Taxi was great but the rest was ruined by the rain |

Or even better, I want to stream it on a site. |

^ It's probably going to take a few weeks before those of us who don't have the DVD see it. JPOPSUKI revoked access to the public and the site's now invitation-only. |

I still have 1 invitation for the Jpopsuki..
and speaking of Blu-Ray, I'm downloading that right now since someone released it on Jpopsuki...37.5GB, and hopefully I don't lose this one and got the same fate as my 4th Anniversary due to stupid Windows Vista... |

^ I don't think the ran ruins the concert.
I received today my DVD (i watched the whole concert before, cuz i downloaded too ^^), and i have to say that the rain gives a unique feeling !
EDIT : Very bad first week... She's #4 with 7,879 copies sold, so it's now the worster dvd selling to date. I just hope know she'll reach 10,000 at least... |

I expected something like that, so I'm not that suprised . But I guess it's normal, since the single- and album-charts were pretty bad this week too. The top seeling single only sold like 25.000 copies . |

I, too, have watched it in full and I can say with no hesitation that is is my favorite of her LIB concerts, I can not stop watching it. It may be my favorite concert to date.
About the rain... It was bound to happen eventually given the season. Seeing the audience and Ai-chin's smiles throughout the downpour was very touching in my opinion. Although you could hear it, I don't think it detracted from the performance. As a few have said, it added a different sort of charm... Ai-chin and her fans would not lose to the rain... She even said "せっかく雨を降ってくれた" "sekkaku ame wo futtekureta" (since the rain is falling for us). The way she said just before performing "ame no naka melody" is such that the rain was graciously falling for the show, She made the most of the downpour as did the audience.
Somehow, Ai-chin seemed more beautiful than ever to me. Also, her band's playing seemed somehow better than in past concerts. I like that she brought live background chorus singers. This is a first for her as far as I know. I think this adds to overall show. She also changed up many of the songs moreso than she has done in the past. It gave everything a different (in a evolved, good way) feel to it. Not sure how to put it, but everyone just seemed even cooler. They all performed incredibly!
She always adds surprises and funny things to these shows, and exceeded herself again. I don't want to spoil it for those who have not seen it yet, but I was laughing out lound at many different parts... Spoiler alert this is in yellow print... Fuji Kenji is a good dancer LOL ... I'd also say, how can she top the ending of this concert?
I have not watched the documentary yet because I can not stop watching the concert and my time has been very limited recently. Ai-chin is awesome! |

this DVD is so much better than the 2 previous LOVE IS BORN (4th & 5th) !
the rain gives really a wonderful performances of her songs
Especially for Ame no Naka no Melody
Poor sales, like usual, without promotion, that's really annoying! avex, wake up! |

The promotion was more than enough. If you have been paying attention, avex has been jacking up the prices way more than what they are worth.
DVD is becoming the obsolete yet they are charging insane prices for them.
Want me to give a great time line?
3rd Anniversary: ¥2,990 (nothing included)
4th Anniversary: ¥2,990/¥6,090/¥6,090 (regular or photo book first press/Blu Ray/HDDVD)
5th Anniversary: ¥4,990/¥5,990 (regular/2 DVD)
6th Anniversary: ¥6,969/¥6,969 (2 DVD regular or first press that has poster-type booklet, original charm/Blu Ray) |

its a really good performance all around. i thought the selection of songs were rather nice and some of the live arrangments were specifically good ()ie: bidama was my favorite)
Too bad it was really raining hard and you can hear it but i really liked how they still continued to do the concert! |

| Just finished watching the Blu-Ray version, then looked back at the DVD version...the difference in quality made me speechless. The colours were much more vibrant overall. Pon-Pon looked so much better in Blu-Ray, the DVD looked like a mess. |

After watching the DVD (Tokyo 9/12) , I remember that I went LIB 6th in Osaka.
I extracted my report here. it's 9/10.
miyago wrote: It's a report at 9/10, It was a same setlist.
14.PEACH
She sang and shot her original ball (It's 6th aniv ,made of rubber) with golf club.
But some shot were straight and low, so some girl in foward sheet were hit the ball.
Ai-chin said "ごめん、ほんまごめん、痛かったー?"
->Sorry, I'm sorry, Have a pain?, sorry,,,!
Aichin said "gomen, honma gomen".
She is not good at playing golf.
and didn't become playing better in 2 days.
...
I went LIB 6th in Taiwan, too.
and I felt she became a little better.
Maybe she practiced hard. |
