Hi everyone on channel-ai, my name is Emma and i'm from America. I love ai-chan she is so wonderful <3. My favorite songs are Cherish and Neko Ni Fuusen. This is a wonderful website! I was wondering i'm not very good at japanese so would it be ai-chan or ai-chin? |

welcome to the forum, Emma.
hope you'll have a great time here, as we are.
usually, the suffix -chan is put to girls' names, and Ai is indeed called Ai-chan a lot. but -chin is a more intimate suffix you can use for people you're closer to, and the die-hard fans are using this very often. i usually use Ai-chin, just to make it easier for me, 'cause Ai-chan for me is Takahashi Ai from Morning Musume.
see you around! |
