She is overrated, at least for me. I don't even like her that much. Her "Can't Buy My Love" album was very good, "From Me To You" was okay too. But "I Loved Yesterday" and "My Short Story" were a big musical mess, especially the last one. I don't think she has a great voice either, but it's okay if you like her  .

sometimes people do overrate YUI (like people overrate most artists), like saying she's got the best voice in Japan (lol?) and stuff. but generally she's awesome imo, and ILY's got a good musical variety, it's not a mess... anywho, i'm no longer a super big fan of YUI's (still love her, though  ), meaning she's not my #1 artist anymore. a certain girl with the name Ai has regained that position.  |

It's not a mess for you . I thought "My Short Stories" was a big mess, for me it's definitely her worst album up to date, even though it's just a B-Side Compilation  . But I like some songs of her, especially the songs from her "Can't Buy My Love"-Era. My biggest problem with her is the guitar music by itself, I think nearly all her songs sound the same  ...

I LOVED YESTERDAY is very good...In my opinion it was better than her first 2 ones..(yeah..but it's my opinion  )
