Sentbox vs. Outbox?

uhmm... so the latest 3 PMs i've sent have ended up in my Outbox instead of my Sentbox. does that mean they haven't been sent? what exactly is the difference, and how come it started doing this just some week ago? or do all PMs end up in Outbox for a week before they go to the Sentbox? Confused
has anyone else had the same experience?

edit: ignore this, i suck. lol. Outbox has messages that hasn't yet been read by the receiver, and Sentbox have those that have.
