Maybe we need a sticky topic in Ai's chat room .... just where we can post random comments about Ai that probably do not deserve to have a new thread created, like how we already have the Mumble thread in the Chat Room. I don't think we get a lot of members not posting much on Ai-chin anymore and hopefully this would encourage more posts ...
Probably should call it something different from Mumble, maybe, "Ai Talk"??? What do you think ... |

Hmmm, we can only have so many mumble threads here. I think you should ask the mods about it. But I wouldn't mind really. But then again, the mumble thread's there for you to post about Ai anyway. |

a similar idea has been considered for Ai's News, where something could be posted that may not deserve its own thread (like a rumour). the mods and admin considered it and decided it was better to leave things the way they are.
the problem is if something is posted that is thought to be insignificant then develops into a big discussion then it is a problem extracting it from the general thread and putting it into its own topic.
the same thing would happen in Ai's Chat Room. it is hard to imagine a comment that is guaranteed not to generate a discussion. in eyn's words:

it is OK to create a new topic if you want to say something that has not been touched on before. otherwise use the search and add to an existing topic.
so the short answer to this suggestion is: no |
