I like the direction she's going in. Even though her image seems a little bit crazy sometimes, it's just Ai! She is not simulating. Her clothes, her make up, her hair - It's just herself.

I just think she is beginning to realise her true self as time goes by. Instead of trying new concepts, she is beginning to see that being unique and "special" is the thing for her! And I dare to say it is definitely the case, though doing the more "normal" kind of stuff suits her too. Tongue

I'd say I was taken by surprise after seeing the LOVE is BEST cover up close (I thought it was a field of flowers with Ai wearing a cute hat and a flowy sun dress). Her aisu x time video shocked me. And her LUCKY STAR vid was pretty weird, but I haven't seen the entire thing.

I believe she's changing her image after her dwindling sales starting from Pocket. I wonder though if it's helping her.
