I was watching an episode of Doctor Who earlier today and found something rather interesting. For anyone outside of the UK or not a total geek, Doctor Who is a show about the "Doctor", a time-traveler that goes all over the universe and time having rather... random adventures. Well anyway, I was watching the episode titled "Utopia", where the Doctor ends up traveling to the end of the universe (about... 100 trillion years into the future?), a time when humans still exist, and I noticed something pretty unexpected:
This is from the quick glimpse found on episode of the keyboard. It seems like the BBC (creators of Doctor Who) are suggesting that English exists along with Japanese (of all languages) 100 trillion years in the future... but they probably wanted weird looking characters on a keyboard and were too lazy to invent their own this time. Well, I suppose this would be more funny if you watched Doctor Who...  |

Doctor Who is brilliant! I love it...a little bit too much people tell me 
But yes, wow. I actually never noticed that keyboard before...that's actually pretty cool <3 you are awesome for bringing that up. It would be amazing to think that Japanese & English would still exist in trillions of years! Or maybe it's just laziness on part of the prop team and since it was a quick clip anyway it probably wouldn't matter..I wonder if you're the first to notice this! |
