Hi you guys,
I have a question about the Love Piece album. So, I was shopping yesterday at a music shop, and I saw two Japan versions of the Love Piece album. Both of them had this grey slipcase, and on the slipcase, there was this heart, and on one copy, the color was blue, and on the other copy, the heart was yellow.
Is this version considered rare? I'm just curious. I didn't buy the blue or yellow version, because I already have this album, but mine is the one where Ai's face is like a puzzle on the CD cover. The front cover artwork is completely different compared to these 2 colored versions.
Oh, and another question is: Does the blue and yellow version have anything special inside? I saw that the case inside the slipcase is also the same color as the heart on the front cover, so I was curious what was inside (besides the cd). |

that's the First Press Limited Edition of LOVE PiECE. there are 6 different versions: red/pink, yellow, blue, green, purple and black. i have the purple one. inside the slip there's the case in one of those colors with the CD the booklet (with the usual cover) in it, and then there's the photobook. you can see scans from it in the gallery.
i don't remember if there's a FPLE with CD+DVD instead of CD + photobook, but yah... there you have it.  |

Wow! This news makes me really happy, beacuse I only ordered my copy of LOVE PiECE last year, and it has the yellow cover and PV for U-Boat! ^_^
What makes me happier though, is that I really think it's the best J-Pop album from this last decade. Not a bad or misplaced song on it anywhere. Such a great album...
I was only a little disappointed because I expected it to contain the PV's for PEACH and CHU-LIP, and it didn't. But you can't have everything, I guess... |

That reminds me.. LovePiece was the second CD by Ai-chin I bought. I bought it before I really knew anything about her or her music other than that she was a beautiful person. At the time, there were two in the store and I got the CD only version. After I became a true die hard fan of hers, which was not long after, I went back and got the Yellow one with the U-booto PV edition..  Now I have two copies of the CD and accompanying photo book. |
