I don't understand Avex strategies  They release the song for download, and then 4 months later they release it as a single (that doesn't even have a b-side) when everyone already has the song 
That happened with SUkkondition/ LUCKY*STAR and the sales didn't go well

^ Maybe there is more money in digital downloads .... or if they release the digital download close to / after the CD release the digital sales greatly decrease because of piracy, but an early digital release doesn't greatly effect CD sales.  |

| ^ actually i think they do... basically when you buy a physical single, your paying for the actual title song and you get the b-sides as extras... generally people dont buy a single for the b-sides, just the title song... i doubt many people are going to bother buying the phiscal single later if theyve already downloaded the title song, thats paying double+more for one it... and if its already available for download now, its doubtful theyll think "oh ill wait for the physical release".... theyll likely get it now and not bother with it later |

^ Well, my reasoning would be ....people who aren't inclined to buy the single for $15 may be more inclined to buy the digital download for $2, and I think Japanese traditionally are less inclined to buy physical media anyway so digital sales may be the main form of revenue they are pushing for 
The thing that confuses me is the long delay in releasing the song .... surely they should be releasing songs when the interested is peaking, but the seem to be waiting way too long for some releases
Well ... maybe for I <3 xxx, they thought the SU marriage thing would negatively effect sales so they delayed it
Avex's business is about making money .... there's a chance they know what they are doing  |

Have first-press bonuses been announced yet?
That usually helps physical sales even if digital downloads may be available  |
