I was doing a google search of Nana Kitade, and Channel-Ai pops up as one of the results  I joined up anyway because I love Otsuka too! |

| I found Ch-ai while searching for information on ai-chin a while back, though I didnt join at that time because I still didnt know much about ai-chin. But somehow, I managed to get back to this site once again, so lol, Im here. |

I have a friend (who I met online but goes to Jap sunday school with) who is obsessed with Ai, because Ai-chin's the first Jpop/J-anything singer she took notice in.
I know she cosplayed Ai for the Anime North dance but I didnt take much notice of Ai ... thought she was just "another one of those jpop singers".. you know, as I'm more into jrock
That was back in Oct/Nov of last year
Then on Jan.4th I went to a local band show and discovered an awesome local band Spider's Kiss (whom will be playing at Anime North this year, btw), thus somehow(i wont go in details..) met their bassist LVXS, whom is also obsessed with Ai-chin as we all know ^_^
so I thought hmmm he's already a briliant musician himself and even HE likes Ai-chin so maybe she's more than "just another one of those jpop singers", and gave her a shot.
I liked her. I liked her Love Is Born DVD lots.
I liked how she didnt lipsync like most of the others. I like how she can play piano and sing at the same time during lives. I liked how she used those funky instruments in her songs. I liked Planetarium especially because it was in Hana Yori Dango and I remember enjoying it. ....
aaaand.. I like her =D
hahaha I know I'm repeating myself
then last week Hiu told me about the karaoke contest on CH-AI, I remember coming across this forum when i'm wandering around but never registered. but I had to because I wanted to download the karaoke contest songs.
That's how I got here, and after a week of observation I think I like how this community works, so I might stay here for good

I found this site by searching for 'Ai Otsuka' in google. Actually, I'm relatively new, i.e. I began listening to Ai's songs only more than a year ago. I became crazy about her when I first saw her concert. I think she performs splendidly and I like how she does it in a very natural and original way. I watched many artists' concerts but none have made such an impression on me.
And after that I started searching madly for her news and everything. Channel-Ai is to me the best English-based fansite of Ai (I can't say anything about Japanese sites as I'm not able to understand much). This's really the heaven for Ai's fans.  |

I was into Ai-chin for quite a while when I was searching for her piano score and I got in here.
After browsing around, I noticed that this forum is not like any forums I've known because the people seems very friendly and generous and not just downloaded her stuff and gone.
I then wanted to join but I was taken aback after reading the rules. So I didn't register but I came back to check out things quite often. At last I can't resist the temptation and decided to join.

| I found channel-ai on a search engine...After hearing frienger, I was obssesed with it and ran to my computer to download it...then i found channel-ai....4 months after, i refound it.. I registered..and now i'm here |
