After I see Ai Otsuka's Planetarium PV, I went to Google to find the lyrics and found this forum!

i was looking for good pics of the lovely ai, just because she is so pretty and i was looking to make a new signature for the Utada-Online Forums featuring her. when i typed her name into google, Channel Ai popped up immediately. at first i wasnt going to join, but then i remembered, "I am a Forums addict." so eventhough im quite new to the whole JPOP thing, i decided that i would join because its fun to meet new ppl who share your interests no?

actually, i happened to be searching for another site that featured ai-chan's stuff when i found our lovely channeru ai. i'd found it (the other site) a while ago, but never gotten a chance to really explore it, and now i'd forgotten the name. all i remembered were the words 'asian' and 'paradise'. so i googled them... and somehow channel-ai popped up. and you know what? it was way better than the website i was looking for (which i never did find).
so yeah... that's my story  |

I was lucky, really lucky, me n HilaryDuffFanboy are studyign in the same school, so i saw his msn display pic with Ai n see him listening to LOVE COOK. So then i realised that he was a really active member here in channel-ai. So I asked him n he encouraged me to join the site!!  Althought I'm not a really active member as my fellow school mate HilaryDuffFanboy is. I found that this site is absoulatly cool~~  |

| I was looking for info on Ai because I am/was fairly new to her so I stumbled across the utmost wonderful forum known to us as channel-ai. I was using google and up popped a link Boy am I glad I found you guys |

| I was googling images of Ai Otsuka to make a decent wallpaper and ended up in Channel-Ai's gallery. After going back there a few times and seeing all the amazing pictures I was curious and decided to see what this "Channel-Ai Forum" was all about; and that's how I stumbled upon this not-so-little gem. |

I came to Channel-ai because as a search term on Google I entered "ai otsuka" and this was the second site on the list! I decided I'd browse through the forums, and while I was reading the rules page by eyn, I realized that if these rules were enforced, then this forum would be what I was always searching for in a community, originality, an open mind, and structure not many forums I've visited are like that and this one should be congratulated on this aspect.  I was hooked here even before I registered, and I've been posting nearly ever since!

It's a bit ironic because I have another story about how I got into writing Ai piano arrangements here but it's also connected to how I came here in the first place .
I'm pretty much adding on to that story but I was watching videos of Ai playing the piano while singing Amaenbo, Kingyo Hanabi, and Himawari and I got inspired to play her songs on the piano. So I was searching for an official piano book of her music and Channel-Ai came up as a result. I took a quick look at this site and left it because I wasn't really interested. I couldn't find anything on the internet so I gave up and began to write my own arrangement of Amaenbo.
Later on I was searching for Otsuka Ai stuff to add on to my home page on Yahoo DSL and the only result that came up was Channel-Ai ! I thought that this site was haunting me and that it was beckoning me to join, but I knew that I wouldn't really be able to contribute anything...
 I could post my piano arrangements on this site and do a request service!
So I joined and that's exactly what I did. I also realized that I can do a lot more to contribute to this community and I have a little bit. I love it here ! |
